Hi everyone, my first time writing in this threat. I juz came back from working about a month at batam, so to share some information with all bros, hope it help, athough some information might already given by the senior bros here.

Ferry Terminal:
Nearest to Nagoya town will be the Harbour bay Ferry Terminal, I think it only about 5 to 8 min to town by Taxi. I myself not farmiliar with this terminal, bec most of the time I drop at Sekupang/ Water Front. Hear it is a dollar more (S$34) and only serviced by Wavemaster Ferry. New Food Court by the Seaside is already available, but not sure the food price down there, soon there will be hotel and new shopping mall around that area.

Hotel/Shopping/Food:
Buget Hotel: Around S$50 to S$60 per night

Hotel 89 (Maybe about 1 n half year old), have gym, steam room, massage. It have a pub with live band located at ground floor.
BCS (2nd bigggest shoping mall in Nagoya, open about 9mth ago) is about 10min walk from the hotel.
Nagoya hill shopping (Biggest shopping mall in Nagoya, open about 6mth ago, with movie threatre) is about 20min by walking.
Windsor Foodcourt is about 15min by walking.
A1 Foodcourt is about 20min by walking.
Opposite the hotel, by the roadside, there are alot of local "zi ca", i eaten a few time, seem good and more buget than foodcourt.

Hotel Utama (About half year old), have gym, small water pool, massge. It have a KTV located at ground floor. Recently there are alot of topic on the cewek at the counter, yeap, they are friendly and most of them are chinese, so bros see your kung fu liao.
BCS Shopping mall (3rd largest Mall in Nagoya, open about 1year plus liao), is only 5 min walk.
New foodcourt "Food City" juz open on 24 May'07, is also about 5 min walk away.

Hotel Formosa (Long time liao, i also dont know how long, any old bird know?), have massage. It have the famous Alisan KTV on the 4th Floor, and surrounded by many KTV and Massage.
Nagoya hill shopping mall is only 5min walk.
A1 foodcourt is only 5min walk as well.
Windsor foodcourt about 10min walk.

Hi BtmMan, I was there that nite leh, we drink a total of 8 bottles of Casber Beer, but dont have any voucher leh? What beer do you drink? I think I will switch beer brand if have vouncher, hehe.

I was there again on Fri nite and got my voucher with every Rp.50k spent.
It's not only for beer, as long as your drink's bill is Rp.50k or more, they will give you the Rp.50k voucher.
But 1 thing, did you mixed your order with non drinks item? Eg cigis ect ect?
This promotion is meant only for Rp.50k bill/order from drinks.
To give you another example, we always order 4 bottles of Bintang beer each time, calculation would be Rp.13.5k x 4 bottles = Rp.54k. Pay 1st order with cash Rp.54k, they will give you a voucher worth Rp.50k. Then with 2nd order of 4 bottles, you pay with the rp.50k voucher and only need to top up cash Rp.4k.

Yes, in order to get the Rp.50k voucher, you must 1st spend rp.50k or more in one single bill/order, and only with drinks.

Actually I don't go anywhere often anymore, it's like when some friends called and if I'm around the area then I'll go lor...

Just came back from Batam. The last time I was there (also to meet a chat friend :P) was 2004. things might have changed a little. Prices seem to have gone up alot.

Can;t believe a taxi ride from Batu ampar to Hotel Harmoni cost 30K. The ride is less than 5 min. My girl being an indo also kena ripped off (or she can't be bothered). Took a short taxi ride within Nagoya for 40k. Was 30K (also expensive) but driver ask for 10k more for making a small detour). however return trip was 20K. Still ex, considering last time only 10K within Nagoya.

I was brought to the food court in front of Trinity Hotel. Ate a plate of Udang (supposedly prawn) and a rice cost me 40K. 1 bot tiger cost 19K. Orange juice 10K x3. and something else which totalled close to 100K. It's more expensive than eating in singapore hawker

Just took a trip to batam last weekend and i just wanna share my experience with bros here.

FYI I have not been to batam for close to 10 years becos I never believe these girls can provide excellent service (i am a sucker for service, looks come next). I will keep this report short and simple.

I took the wavemaster ferry service which is currently the fastest way to get there at 45 mins and it is also closest to the city (5 mins).

The driver who took us around is a regular one whom my friends used to engage whenever they are there.

As for food, we tried a few places (nasi padang, yong kee fish soup, fast food, hotel food & windsor food court).
The most expensive one is nasi padang ($34 for 4 pax)
Yong kee cost $25 for 4 pax (soup + 2 side dishes)
Fast food is cheapest at $2.50 per set meal at BFC
At windsor we had crabs, prawn, fish head at $60 for 9 pax (5 dishes)
Hotel food such as fried rice & chicken chop cost bet $4.5 to $6

Depending on individual, the food is just to fill up my stomach and give me energy to bonk ha ha. But nasi padang prices are crazy, more expensive than our food court ones! A no go for me next time.

As for the girls, they are definitely in limited editions at this time due to the close watch by the police. All ktv are close (almost) and prices went up a little (that was partly due to the driver's presence too).

2 Places we went were sedona and permata (hope i spell right).

At sedona, there are about 10 - 15 girls with 3-4 lookable ones.
I was recommended one 18 y.o. with ok looks. Service wise i would give 4/10 cos she's not proactive, play a bit hard to get and eventually i have to push all the buttons myself. BTW i paid 300k. I know its high.

Next day we went to permata where we choose the girls through photo albums. As the demand was high, many were booked out early. So the mamasan show us some of their 400k goods which come highly recommended with excellent service. Left with no choice, i took one of their recommendations. BIG MISTAKE. She was worst than the one I had the first night and eventually I sent her packing even before we had finish our first deed. My friend also encounter similar service from this joint so I should personally ban myself from going there if i ever step into batam again.

I know some bros out there will think why i'm so stupid to kena chop like that but the current situation is definitely suppliers' paradise.
