Basically, the apartments far outside of the city may not be able to find rentees; and getting to town mean getting a car/transport is necessary. Or the rent is much cheaper, too cheap that it cannot covers the overhead. Those within the city itself were sold & price is high, relatively. So, if one intends to sell there's no local wud afford to buy.. and most properties in CN is on lease 40 yrs/60 yrs - not permanent. After which the land goes back to the govt, without a single cent?

..and after some years, the place deteriorate without much care is taken - becoming like a slump - ala the market area just near LHL... the flats behind that place is like a slump area.. (but that's where the BBS is!)

The place i looking at has free transport to the city.... can also take a bus, about 2rmb for aircon, 15min travel, or take cab, 15rmb, abt 5min travel time.... plus this one built by Li Ka Shing... more reliable isn't it?

drugs are easily accessible, gambling places too. anything u can think of, u can find. robbery and fighting everyday. but for us, we stay at LHL all the time, we hardly see these lah....

in fact DG is less 乱. it's just more unsafe in terms of robbery there.

anyway, my advise is becareful with money. be respectful, coz u never know who's a mafia. think with your head until u get to the room, where u can think with your other head.

i consider myself lucky coz since day one i was there, i had many 大哥 to take care of me. they've started going there way long b4 me. i've heard many stories from them and we function in a group. so i'm happy, i'm in good hands. for new bros going, read the forum well or go with one of us on your first trip.

Con mens, of all shapes n sizes, are all over the places, targeting easy preys like us foreigners, who want to avoid trouble. That is why I try to befriend the locals. Sometimes these types of things can be settled if you know local who are confident of handling the situations, or for matter of fact, advise you to avoid encountering such a problem in the first place.

I am glad I have local friends who are able to help me in such situations. I juz want to have a good time in ZH, a fun but safe trip. Cheers.

It all depends on the surrounding area lah.. some areas still crime prone.. others like the bros said, after a while carpark become dump.

Although its 10 yrs already, they are still expanding and more new buildings are coming up. and some area still empty, waiting to build the flats...

They also have a super big range of different house. so there's different sizes to suit different needs...

Nice to know you got some "heavy" connections in ZH. Got many advantages to hang ard with your 大哥 and their gangs. Like you described, even if when you are drunk, you can find yourself safety back in your hotel. That will allow u to drink heavily and play all out. Even if there is a gangfight, I am sure you will have plentiful of helping hands. Unfortunately for me, I dun have tat luxury of a big backing. I acknowledge that I am a poor drinker so I know my limits. Moreover my main purpose of going ktv is to pick gals, drink abit, catch up with new or old friends, leave early for a good bonk back in hotel. A moderate cheongster if I were to describe myself. As I said, good safe fun, dun want any trouble all together. Looking forward to part 3......

it's not as kua zhang as u said lah.... i just have many taiwan bros in taiwan and zhuhai. some are involved, some not. i know some very well, but some not. honestly, i dun really care. dun call it backing. we're there to have fun. i try to stay out of trouble. stay low profile is better. and i am always respectful to those china dudes. coz no point stirring trouble. plus u never know what kinda of trouble u get into. so sometimes i go without my taiwan friends. sometimes it can be quite pressurizing to hang out with them too. got into a fight once inside and outside jinsha. taiwan vs taiwan. damn... stupid lah. we go and cheong only mah... but when it comes to drinking, we're a family. they love drinking with me. hahaha, coz i get very crazy like strip the gals etc etc... they get to see show lah... those uncle uncle.. haha.. i was lucky coz my big bro brought me on my first trip 5 yrs ago and i got my experiences from there. but if i go by myself or with my singapore frens, i become more moderate. stay awake go home pia! depends on mood lah...

ok... part 3.

one thing to add for our second night. sibeh funny. we were at gandong. towards the end. the manager. 翠姐 started reading my big bros palm. giving him fortune telling. wah... and she say a lot already. blah blah blah. this good that good... etc. then at the end. ta ma de, she realised that she was looking at my big bro's right hand and she say 男左女右。 see read wrong hand after reading for so long. hahahah damn it.... super funny.

ok, back to the third night. jinsha.
so we were at jinsha... and 2 of us. we started picking the gals. there are more SYT here, also some nice tall chicks. it's weird. ive seen some really hot gals here, but i have also seen the uglist gals here...what an irony. anyway, we are expecting another bro who is coming from DG. he's late, so we picked some on his behalf. we ended up with 11 gals. plus, i had a gal from previous night to come over. not the 1990 gal, but another one. my original plan was to take the 1990 gal home the previous night (second night) and save this one for my third night, coz this one is fun to have on the third night of drinking. so, she came over. unfortunately, she had something on that night and couldnt accompany me. so she only give me face, came for an hour, cheers to me and my big bro and left. she's really fun. xiao xiao from gandong. but i call her 先买单，再聊天。coz the previous night, she lost to many drinking games and she talks a lot.... i keep telling her to 先买单，再聊天... so thats how the name came about. hahaha. and she saved my number on her phone as 小可爱. sibeh gay. tmd.

anyway, we're hanging till my other bro 小凯, came. another taiwanese. the whole room realy got messy as soon as we started drinking a lot. gals running here and there... dunno what what god reason... i think my other bro chasing them. hahahah machum like the old ancient brothel house like that. hahaha the scene was really comical. on the other side, my big bro. he is quite an uncle, just sit that and play games. he very shoik already. so many gals for him to mind fuck. haha. i am honestly a bit sian of KTV by now already. this trip, i did not even go shopping for fake watches, fake bags, weird innovative handphones etc. plus 3 days of cheonging like ours is no joke. my big bro is ok. coz he just sit there all night. i was really tired, coz i love to dance and had been dancing very vigirously for the past 2 nights liao... so.... i decided that i needed to save myself from tiresome. my remedy is to.... drink more! it helps. and plus some external snorting factor. i was lively again! for a moment. i decided to take a breather outside coz it got kinda smoky in the room. wrong move... the moment i stepped out. i met this gal 文子. this gal was taken by my other singaporean bro. report and photo can be found on our under developed, under updated website (click)

this gal... has been calling me ever since i came back from that trip. at first, she was calling my bro. but later dunno what happen, she came and tried to 勾引 me... what a bitch. hahah... she's really shao i must say and really knows how to seduce a man thru words. but hey, i am not a sheep. i'm the wolf in the sheep's skin... haha... i wouldnt be surprised if i had phone sex with her.... but anywa, she's been calling me and i really dun wanna entertain her. but so coincidental, met her outside in the main corridor. damn... she recognise me at first glance lo... damn. bo bian. add one more gal to the collection of gals in my room. now, dun even know how many liao. sibeh messy. plus 玲姐 also in there. and another dunno what name mummy. dun even know whose gal is whose gal. just play altogether.

my other bro, the one from DG was kinda drunk, coz he couldnt take his alcohol, so he went back with his chick. but my big bro, he is crazy. and wanted to drink more... so he took his gal and went to 长安俱乐部 for more. actually not the first time. sometimes, we go jinsha pick gals. after we are done picking, by 9pm, we bring all back to homeground 1, 长安俱乐部 to drink. we prefer homeground one, coz cheaper to drink there for us. btw, his gal is sibeh chio and tall too. like model. forgot her name, but i'll find out. and she's fun. anyway, i told my big bro that i'm gonna go back and take a bonk first and i'll be back later. so i got back.

got back. bonked that same gal again. after that, we started chatting. actually we've been talking a lot the previous night too, i just dun remember which part of our conversation came on the previous night and which ones came this night. so heres the whole story. she told me she got cheated here. blah blah blah, i've heard many of these stories and i'd be dumb to fall for that. so i was on one hand flirting with her and kao-ing her, sweet talking is the SOP. but on the other hand, act caring of her problems and told her i'd stand up for her. but she told me something which i really cannot accept. the guy who cheated her to zhuhai is her distant cousin. she didnt expect to work at a ktv and not to mention going out overnight. pretty normal for first timer gals. but the crappy part is the money that she earned has got to go to that guy in FULL. when she didnt give the 台费 to him in the 2 previous nights, she got beaten up. he had her IC and bank card. and she had to cook and wash for him too. sounds like a lousy 姑爷仔 bf. but he's not a bf. only a gangster cousin, who tricked her here. 1) she does NOT love the guy at all. 2) she doesnt owe the guy anything. 3) the guy is forcing her to work and not sharing the money earned by her. i think thats really messed and i decided to help her, baring in mind that i had only money to lose. i just had to becareful when it comes to money issues. i am sure i wont fall for a gal, so i was emotionally stable. plus i hate 吃软饭 guys aka 小白脸. i am fine with gals who are working in this line, if not how to have so much fun for us? but i just dun like these gals to be controlled and plus have to give all her earnings to a guy who just gambles. the most dulan part is, that guy was trying to psycho her to cheat more of my money.... siao ah!

the spark came, when this 小白脸 gangster is forcing her to go out with this taiwan gangster, coz that would make him more money. this tw guy beat her up in the club on the previous night, because she was unwilling to go out with him. (night b4 i went to gandong where i met her) even tho we know all gals can go out overnight. but the final decision is still up to the gal. she was completely disgusted at the situation. even the night that i was at gandong. she initially didnt wanna go out with me too, tho she's not supposed to have a choice lah. but i managed to sweet talk her. for me, i find it fun to play it like a game. so when i was out on my "business trip" the 小白脸 gangster forced her to go out with the taiwan gangster again, but she was unwilling, coz she was waiting for me. she got a serious shelling from the 小白脸 gangster. but that night (my third night). i was back. and i got to know the story. i decided to stand up for her, baring in mind that it could still be a scam. as long as i dun lose monetarily nor emotionally, i'll be fine.

i tot the case was simple, so, i told that gal, i have got good connections in zhuhai. she doesnt have to listen to him. she could just leave. asked her to move out and go to another KTV, under my introduction, she'll be fine and people will take care of her. then she dun have to give money to the xiaobailian gangster, and work freely as she wants. ON or not, up to her.
