Re: Batam Info Thread
If you want very peaceful environment, good security, good wifi
Go Stay Nagoya Mansion. Their taxi can sit 6 person. (7 seater small MPV) At night if you feel hungry, go right to the ground floor and exit from the back gate, there is a stall selling food. Their Fried rice is good. La kopi and drink teh...... chit chat... smoke Walking distance to Nagoya area provided you know how to walk. Around 15 minutes walk to reach Nagoya Mall. |

Travel by Horizon Ferry,feels good
Paid $8 extra for the VIP seats above. I think they only have around 30 seats above. Only person with VIP tickets are allow to go up. There will be staff checking tickets at the stairway. Spacious and they serve you mineral water and some sweets. Spacious seat but the seats are too upright for comfort and cannot adjust. VIP ticket holder also gets to alight first when you reach your destination. They will hold the normal crowd and let you go first. Its about $58 per person if I remember correctly. Normally I email them to book ticket and walk to their counter to collect. No need to queue. Email for Horizon Singapore and Horizon Batam is different. You got to email them individually to book the tickets stating the time and day Provide passport details for the travellers. Then when you reach Batam, just go to their counter and they have your tickets ready. http://horizonfastferry.com/home/ Singapore Counter Address: 1 Maritime Square #03-47, Harbourfront Centre, Singapore 099253 Operation Hours: 7.00am to 9.35pm Phone: +65 6276 6711 Fax: +65 6276 6551 Email: singapore@horizonfastferry.com Batam Counter Address: JI. Duyung – Batu Ampar Komplek Harbour Bay Citywalk No.CW11 Operation Hours: 7.00am to 9.35pm Phone: +62 778 741 5007 Fax: +62 778 741 5150 Email: batam@horizonfastferry.com |

Re: Batam Info Thread
According to a reliable source, Dolly got raided because there was word that an underage girl was working there. The charge of trafficking was levied on the two papis there. Another major problem was the sign board stated Dolly Massage but when the police came knocking, they didnt find any massage beds but a whole lot of condoms.
Maybe Flambouyan got busted under the same account? (I'm just speculating here) |

Re: Batam Info Thread
Bros... So for any of the fuck houses, you just have to say timing and room number, and the girl will definitely reach there at the time? How to ensure? And how come say no taxi will get cheaper? What does it mean?

And maybe for most who live to eat may like Zenbu better? I eat to live....if i were to give another shot on Japanese food in Batam, maybe under the same area (Nagoya City Walk) with lower rental, less crowd, less popular, blah blah blah...maybe,maybe,maybe....i may just try : The true reason from a stingy man angle of view : its almost similar pricing as Bento Tei,hehehe... ...with their Japanese style ambiance feel : ...along with their kind of food : I believe this place should be taken as a 2nd opinion (or option for me) on something closer to Bento Tei in terms of location as well as pricing. It is not far from Bento Tei and more importantly,not-so-expensive (doesnt mean its cheap in my view,hehehe...). Taste wise,so long no beef,no sea food,is edible, eat already wont diarrhea, wont die can liao,hehehe... I shall keep a look out on this place in my next trip. Quote:
Thank you for sharing. (i am looking at vegetarian food now,hehehe...)

Re: Batam Info Thread
It is always good to see bros contributing not only on the various `entertainment' avail in Batam but on food as well; it definitely help in guiding newbies on overall experience in both filling their `manly' needs but also their stomachs as well
Personally, I always make it a point to eat local as part of the unique experience of travelling overseas. Looking forward to more FRs from bros....both the physical needs of body and soul. |

Re: Batam Info Thread
Haha...dun expect to see so much on food in here.
But since its the trend now, I think I can talk about RED CRAB restaurant. I went to the one near batam centre, I was told they have another branch in Nagoya hill. The soft shelf crab is quite nice, and the fried long beans with salted egg yoke. Garlic chicken....so so but still can make it, sweet sour pork also ok. The next thing is...bird nest 1 person portion Rp80K, shark's fin Rp100K. Total bill for 4 person, with 3 Sharks fin n 2 bird nest about Rp900K.
