Use the "load pics" icon top right hand next to the "hide".

To delete PM just select the messages you want to delete from your list and use the delete option from the ajax menu at the bottom of the page.

The mobile skin was designed for speed in mind and is not as feature rich as the desktop skin.

However if you have a large enough screen you can default back to the full juicy version where all the features are available.
