True that he does not show nor admit he is bothered but the fact that he renovated the place, bring in dancers, and personally screen and select new singers are signs of his effort to ward off competition.

I agree with you on this. Many bosses just leave the place to be run by the managers. How many joints are in a poorer condition and yet have not renovated? This place got renovated even though it is not run down like those places.

He is different also in his approach to the place, he will walk around, talk to his staff, singers/dancers, talk to customers etc. This is one reason why the place is still there, and one reason why many still go there and patronize the place.

Dancers? Mansg, what time do they dance, or is it just spread throughout nite? And is it the usual slow HFJ dancing or faster? This can make it more interesting for me!
