I don't use any MMS coz I am a cheapo who maximize my time and minimize my damages in DC Haha.. How did you guess I am a VIP there? Yes, I am definitely one Very Insignificant Person. I spend almost all of my time in the hall so there is no need for MMS to serve my group.

There are some good and decent ones I've known whom refused to succumb to the environment till the end of their contracts, and there are some nice homely-type who transform from GND to money-grabbing, customer-snatching, gals who will resort to sweet-talks and trickeries or even seduction to win over customers. Look at the 5 dancers at DC. From a cohesive bunch of fresh 18-19yo dance-school graduates who arrived Singapore 3 months ago with a mind purely to entertain customers with their dances, they have already drifted apart with internal squabbles and fights over customers and jealousies.

Like what bro et911 says, can we really fault them for everything? My conclusion with my frens who patronise DC with me, the original culprits are actually the guys who spoil the gals by buying expensive gifts and dinners (Some of these gals who are in Singapore less than a year have dined in more restaurants than many Singaporeans), throwing money at them, and switching their financial support from gals to gals. To fend for themselves, the gals either have to transform to fit into their working environment, or to return home with whatever little earnings they made.

I agree with your view and that of the Young Silve Ghost, I have seen my buddies losing money, heart and famiy to these singers, willingly. Sigh....

As for losing money to singers, KTV gals or whoever. I viewed it very simply, it is a transaction. You use your money to buy their time, buy them holes or whatever. Just like you go into a business deal, you win some, you lose some. If you are not alert enough, you pay for more than what you are due, if you are smart enough you get more than what you pay for.

As long as we dont think we are Singapore's Tom Cruise, and keep thinking these gals love us for our character, our "love and affection" towards them then we will be fine.

In short, you are good, someone is better out there. You are rich, someone is richer than you out there. If you want to play with fire, be prepared to get burnt, you just need to be careful and know your own position and limitations.
