Went some weeks ago, HC got a desperate mummy who keeps asking you whether you want the singers to sit.
Cannot just leave patrons alone to drink and chat with their friends.
The stage not impressive. Singers at most 6/10.
The upstairs KTV rooms not bad.
They got a "circle seat" like in the old cinemas with bar stools on a balcony that overlooks the stage.
I doubt HC will make it in the long term. But maybe got diehard big supporters.

That's why I cant appreciate. I am still trying to analyse it.. Here's my observation.
1. sit in the hall bio bio
2. pick a candidate
3. tells manager the amount you wish to hang.
4. Manager hangs the sash and signal to your direction. Clap clap. Singer bows her head in acknowledgement and appreciation to your kind donation.
5. After the song, singer comes over to say thank you and chit chat for a 1 song (3-5min).
6. If I am 2nd or 3rd highest donor I have to wait 2-3 songs later? Or is it 1st to hang gets to sit 1st? (someone enlighten me?)

Compare that to in the room.

1. Sit in the room, mamasan parades the candidates. Usually younger than singers no?
2. Pick a candidate. Pot luck session on singing skills on some occassoin better that the singers outside.
3. Can pay her immediately/at mid session/ at end session depending on my mood, the candidate and strategy for the evening. $50 onwards
4. No one but you and the girl know how much $$ change hands.
5. For comparison, 500 will make the girl very happy
6. She wont 'run tables' for 500 unless she has prior tables. Some will cancel to sit with me.

I am still missing something big!!!! I still have plenty to learn.

Dun flame me hor.. I am just writing whatever that comes to my mind.. All the newbie potential FHs out there stand to benefit from my questions.

Heheeheh Bro Otur, I am yellow skin after all..half way writing reports and this so very gang kor to change tune. My england also half past six wat.. And Bro, I jio u 1st lah can can....? Even my own friend once hanged 50K and regreted after.. So I am still trying to break this down to the bottom.. There must be a good reason behind that.

Just like between GL/FL/KTV... The supporters of each group will tell you a load of reasons why they find they are stretching their dollar further than the other 2 groups. I personally am not keen on the 1st two groups and I could relate to it as all 3 cats have their own unique characteristics although we will end up at the same ultimate destination ( to satisfy the kuku cheow)

Where is the line between KTV vs FH. I find You mentioned KC and EGO..(no offence to the FHs), are there any other factors? I find I can achieve all the conditions in the KTV room and no need to come to the hall.. Yes, even the EGO aspect. Anyone care to share?
