Not quite true. If you are aware of how an MNC works, then you would know that an expatriate has more benefits such as housing, higher pay, car allowance, more annual leave etc when they come to singapore to work................. but they pay peanuts to locals.

The word here is - > Expatriate. Even a local guy who goes overseas to work in China or HK or the states or Europe will get paid much much more than locally.
