and also sometimes dont fall for the flower war trick. last time was asked by a manager in Dynasty classic to help hang fake flower. whenever he sms me, i will hang a certain number of flower to some singer. and the singer will put on a show look at me smile and all that.. that night itself i "hang" like 40K of flower.. but then the other party who wanted to target the singer hung like 60K worth. . well the whole idea in the first place is for me to Stimulate the other party into a war. so that he will hang more and more.

I know of other places that does that. the serangoon place is famous for this.

Kudos also to Bro Teraterm for providing the list and showing the inner works at DC. I was wondering where did all those rich clients come from, who make us ordinary joe look like peanuts. Now I know.

Haven't been to DC for a while. But after the raid, business there was pretty bad. I went a few times, and each time I saw more than 1 singer end up with not even a penny of flower! Hey, if you come up and rescue them even with just the min. of $100, that money can go a pretty long way!

Agree with u 50 50 only, like what was mentioned previously, normal people like us are really peanuts. If u want to 'save' the singers, u will have to carry a cart load full of cash! I tried to do so but the long term not possible lah. First you are the knight in silver armour but later you will become the 'white' knight because all the money all wash white white from you........

Bring to DC and sat down with a singer once, tried to tip her $100 but she rejected and ask me to hang flowers instead. When I was at the main hall, I realise $100 is just a loose change End up hanging $500.

The place I frequent is slightly better but I saw with my own eyes that a nice Chinese (I mean from China) gentleman hang $10K on a singer. How to compete??? There is always another mountain behind the hill. Only can sigh that I too young cannot have the financial to back my intent.........

One thing to add, being 'hooked' to the hang flowers joint sometime has some little advantage. I have virtually stopped most of my FL adventures because all the funds have being channelled to the more 'healthly' song listening activities.

Any other activities derived from these joints would be bonus but the drawback is that you might have to give more than just money (maybe time and some feelings). Once a bro said that the cheapest sex could also be the most expensive one........

Each singer will have a certain target of flower they need to get a month, ranging from 4K to 20K a month. this also depends on the KTV they sing at.
If they are unable to hit the target either a Fine will be imposed (which is $$$ fine) or after a few continueous months, they will be asked to leave (either go back to china or goto other place).

so if you want to be silver armour knight. be prepared to fork out that amount A MONTH. thats 4K minimum, add the liquer cost and the transport. i would say you will be down 5K a month.. and for what ?? i dont know.
for me my max flower is just S$20. as apreciation of a good performance.

and ya.. the raid on DC is bad, there were rumours about the gals who got caught were tested HIV+. alot of efford went into covering it up. but reliable sources confirm that out of the many caught, a small portion was tested HIV+. How the gals caught it no one knows (unprotected sex or because of drug abuse??). But then my friends have had ben offered RAW session by DC gals before so you make your own guess.

I always wonder what was in the big spenders' mind. If you just want sex with a nice girl, you can get an entire month of it from a better-looking girl (or multiple ones if you fancy) at TAM. If you want to show off or are engaged in a status competition, but show off to whom? oftentimes nobody in the audience know from whom the flower came from. What's the point? To impress the singer, to win her heart? It's probably easier and better to spend the money in other more romantic ways. Women sure don't like guys who are cheap, but they don't respect guys who pay for them either.

Well, I guess singers do have their special charm, don't they? They project a better and more attractive image on stage than those butterflying girls. And they seem to have more class, more exclusiveness. I for one somehow fall easily for these singers.

I cant agree with you more. The charm, the class and the wonderful feeling that a good looking yet talented person is showering attention on you. This is so different compared to telling the mummy that you want a particular girl and then she will sit down and try to make you happy. The way they carry themselves is also much refined and some of them even have a certain attitude.

Women generally are like what you mentioned but crazy men like us would always begged that the one we like or got hooked to is different from the crop, but how many lucky cases are there? Not sure and not too optimistic with the statistics. Once know a PRC girl who visited Singapore recently (knew from my visit to China), she actually did some part time at Century, when we met for dinner once, she commented that Singapore guys' money is the easiest to earn. Just sit there talk dirty and she earns $200, nothing else. The funny thing was that the guy keeps coming back and ask for her, we were having dinner and the mummy keeps calling her to come to work. The business about trying to impress is really Singaporean and behind our backs, I wonder how many women are counting our money and laughing at us at the same time. Really a thing to think about.

Talking about hanging flower, there was once in DC somewhere in May. I personally witness a short guy always wear white color T-Shirt with a bit of curly hair. He use to walk around in front of the stage. HaHa this guy dont play play with him. He already built his name in DC as " Flower King " that night alone he hang flower about $200k for himself. Even the other guy who use to sit on the right hand side of the table, he is a lawyer also lost to this "Flower King" but this lawyer very the ai sai, everytime he go there he always book at least 8 to 9 singers, maybe his is a singer siao. There was once I also witness this lawyer when he reach DC he found that his usual table was occupy by another customer, so he just stand there and wait even there are empty tables he also dont want to sit. so at last the boss (better dont put his name here lah not nice) asked the customer to move to another table just to fit this lawyer back to his regular table. Later I found out that the table is book by the lawyer everyday, whether he is there or not no ppl will sit that table.

As for why people hang flower. i think its something like FACE,
the more they hang the more face they think they get. the singer
will flock to his table and also the papasan or mamasan and also
get special treatment. I think on other threads i have also said
some other reasons why people hang flower .. amount them is
1. Face(already stated above)
2. Wash Money (for those with connection with the singer and company)
3. Claim Ent and share profit (for japs and korean who have fixed ent to spend, and they know the singer)
4. 2 much money dont know where to spend (those retired people and super rich lonely men)
5. Realy apreciate the singing and performance (there are a few)

as for flower king... well there are a few around the most famous is hai ke, da yen chen.. etc. these people are known around the hang flower world because they can spend continuous 5-6K a day for 7 days a week,30 days a month they usually visit a different KTV everynite, and avoid those extremely high class place because they want to stay low profile. and they always use cash. plus every now and then they will set a record of 40-100K. I am still wondering where they get the money.

You're absolutely right! The Bangkok ones are on a larger scale in terms of shows.

There're many restrictions in Singapore's entertainment laws. For example a Bangkok coyote dancer will come down to entertain and flirt with you when you buy them lady drinks. Just like what you said about the singers. If you put it into Singapore context. It is illegal to do that for a coyote dancer in a Singapore club. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

i dont think they will allow coyote dancer in singapore club ahhahaha.
not sure, so far stage performers are to only perform onstage, as stated
in the public entertainment licence.

even the mixture of chinese performers and performers from other countries are not permitted. hence if a joint applies for thai or philipino singers, they cant have PRC singers and vice-versa.

entertainment laws there are really tight plus you have the public entertainment licence (the police is taking care of this), MOM (they catch overstayer and illegal workers), AV (they catch anyone doing funny things in KTV), CNB they catch drug users and god know what other departments are out there.

bro...u refering to car plate #61 is it ? he has a stable of sports cars and all has the same number plate...he sides on the right side of the stage behind the pillar...one of the singers is his "gf".
there is another doctor also good friend of johnny...but not too regular recently...heard he hides in the room nowadays...
and the largest spender is chairman mao...cos his surname is mao...they call him jin mao or mao zhu xi...
