Joo chiat, Katong area kanna raid by AV, cos just visted MG in the evening,
Really hard to believe cos whenever i go MG, there will be always a raid by AV except the first time(went MG 3 time liao). In total, i had save two gals from the crutches of AV during my previous and today visit cos i bring them out for makan.
Went MG with my kakis at around 8 evening, order two jug of beer as usual, i must say the quality and quantity of the gals at MG were low as compared to my last round before the august raid. In the end, choose this girl(forget name liao), look quite pretty to me, initially rejected her, later went high and low to find her. Damn happy when managed to find her. Bring her out for makan after a while, and saw AV around joo chiat area.

oh yeah learning phonology in uni last time also didnt help me too much to ask them to pronounce V correctly...but different province have different pronunciation of mandarin even, so english is a whole new thing..

from wat i understand is tat, the english they learnt is more towards the american-accent, as compared to singapore, which is more of british-accent. another way to explain their poor pronoucuiation is tat, they r not exposed to this language at a tender age, let's say 4 y/o onwards, whereas in singapore, by 4 y/o most of the kids are exposed to this language, and wif eng-prog on TV, it does enhance our pronounciation.

been to the IV in Jc a few times but quite many moons ago, it is beside GS, omos similar, some of the gals there work both places... very free n easy type, not as many chai as mg, kat or th but much easier to get rooms. mix of prc, locals n msian n if u lucky can find good stuff - esp late afternoon cuz some gers moonlight there b4 working in the upper class ktv in apollo n the likes.

GS I am still ok, been here only once.
But IV quite a a disappointment with the service of the waitresses there
To see the chais, can sit at the kpt across the road
But recently with the furor in Jc, better stay clear
