Bro you are absolutely right, whatever we say here, dont KC PRC or WLs, there are people who keep trying, obviously they must have a gd reason which we will not dwell on here, but as long as they can afford to get heart broken later on be it financially or emotionally, so be it. I for one sympathise with Shawn here, but I guess he has his reasons ... and whatever it is I am sure he still have happy memories of his GF. Eeven if we go out with SG gers, it is the same, there will be breakups and heartaches

In most cases, this is true for very objective reasons. Means getting the maximum chance to get the visit pass and maximum chance to stay for the longest (30 days) period. However, I've asked this question before, if the girl is holding on to multiple entry pass (2 years), she can come in anytime she likes, but of cos still subjected to whether she has got enough justification to stay for the longest period (otherwise the immigration might give only 7 to 14 days).

But if these word came from the girl, pls consider if there are other reasons why she want to give you a 3 months break, it might be a good excuse to stay home for 3 months or longer, depending on what excuse she is maintaining.

Sorry about your GF problem, but I have had some broken relationships too. So, without any swear words, I wish you all the best and good luck on your second try. For those of you with GFs, don't go bonking WLs (at least don't get caught and stop using your handphones to book appointments or SMS WLs) because once she finds out, she'll lose her trust in you and that's the end of your relationship.

I hear your point on swearing. But its a fact of life that lots of people swear, esp on the Net. Sometimes, a swear word or 2 brings the point across more strongly, especially with a strong, sharp work like f***. And its a bit out-of-place to discourage swearing in a forum dedicated to bonking WLs. It's like asking a steak-forum not to use the word "meat"
