Its been about 9 hours since we parted so I am still disoriented, confused and behaving like a bloody love sick puppy. I have not slept at all last night and went straight to work after sending her off at the airport this morning so the mind is not functioning properly.

I agree totally with bro DYBJ that my mind and heart are not at sync now and am at the moment, emotionally vulnerable.

I want so much to believe that I meant something to her apart from being a source of income. The evidence however is very compelling that while she likes me, she is not in love with me. Even when we were together, each time the conversation gets too emotional, I can see that she starts putting a defensive wall around herself. The last night we were together, we spent the whole night cuddling on the sofa watching DVDs and didn't really talked much. No farewell bonk either. On the way to the airport, she said that she switched on the DVD for the whole night because she didn't know what to say.

Although she never asked me for money, she never rejected it each time I gave her some. Well to be fair, she hesitated and said I shouldn't but took the money eventually.

All I can say is that there were no misrepresentations or fraud on her part. Looking back at the things she said over the past couple of months, I cannot identify any thing she said where I had reasons not to believe her (apart from the reason profferred for the early departure).

No fake statements like how much she purportedly loves me or how great I was in bed, etc. None of these things. It was me who was constantly trying to break down her defensive walls and I thought I managed to do so, to a certain degree. Once I smsed her and told her that I wanted to tell her I love her when I was with her but somehow I couldn't bring myself to say those words to her in person. Her response which surprised me somewhat was to tell me not to say those three words to her as she does not know how she would react.
