bro, its still not widely practiced among the thai ladies, cos they usually hold the property as collateral, so the man will feel the pinch if he decides to philander & find a new love nest. but i've known of a few cases, where the spouse gives her foriegn husband, her land/ property. all it takes is just going thru some legal papers to grant power of attorney... and viola... the land/property "belongs" to the foreign husband. (afterall, the man did pay for it - in form of dowry)

some even have gone thru extreme extents to provide legitimate documents to make their man a PR and/or "citizen". (but of cos, we know its 1 of those hush-hush affairs)

p.s.: i guess, some ppl will still refute to say that its bullsh*t, bcos they havent seen the light... and will continue believing otherwise.

Ask your lawyer come and talk. See which lawyer can guarantee that and he can kiss his licence goodbye for misrepresentation.

If confirm is his land, no need to put open and close inverted commas above.

By the way, please go and read up. Power of Attorney, does not mean the land belongs to that person.

No point see the light. The law only recognise the black and white document. Talk so much you can sleep on the land, fuck on the land, put a signboard that the land is yours, but yet in terms of law, the land doesn't belong to the foreigner. Go borders and find the book under the section of Real Estate. The book touches on the legal documents and procedures of land in Thailand.

Thanks, good intel.. saved us some bother. Harsh reality is thai joint market segment is not big. Quite a few fallen on wayside. And with rising rents these days, lifespan gets even shorter.

Bros... from wht i know, they pay the singer & Gros on daILY basic. Last night saw the band was counting money... hahaha.. And the gros was happily paid went they left the place. The place look more like caton pub rather thai joints.

No doubt the band sang a mixes of thai & local music. The only thing is the DJ who play caton house music, which turn me off. Well it a late crowd place.
