It was not convenient for me to speak much last night. My last contact with that girl was on Saturday night before we met for teh tarik. That afternoon we exchanged a couple of smses and in the evening, we had a short conversation on the phone. Nothing much except the usual normal stuff like how are things back home, etc. It was a short conversation as my battery was going flat and the call got cut off mid-way. After the call was cut off, I sent a sms to her saying that my battery was flat and I will try to call her again the next day (ie on Sunday). She replied via sms saying ok.

I smsed her once on Sunday afternoon. I can't remember what I wrote but it was none of that mushy stuff. There was no reply from her.

On Monday, I smsed her again asking if everything was alright as I did not receive any response from her the previous day. I asked her to reply to my sms so that I know she is fine. Again no reply. Monday evening, I tried calling her but couldn't get through. I tried calling her again yesterday but was still unable to get through. The automated message simply said that the subscriber's phone is not on.

She has been MIA since last Saturday evening.

Now I agree with you totally that there is a very high probability that she has a bf back home and that the reason why I cannot get through was because she was with her bf. I can also see that there are some things which she told me before which cannot be corroborated, or are even contrary to the circumstantial evidence but somehow I was prepared to overlook these issues.

I also totally agree with you that since I am unable to carry this relationship any further then what we had previously, I should let go and move on.

The difficulty is how to stop the yearning and longing to see her again. I think your suggestion of deleting all information about her and making it impossible for myself to contact her makes a lot of sense. I tried to do that last night but couldn't bring myself to do so. I will try that again today and hopefully I can harden my resolve.

I mentioned in a previous post that I felt a special affinity towards her when I first laid eyes on her. So far in my life, this is the second time I had such an experience. The first time I felt that way about a girl, she eventually became my wife. Don't get me wrong, I still love my wife and our relationship is fine. Occasionally I go cheonging for stress relief but always fug and forget. I simply cannot understand why I felt so strongly about this girl even though we have known each other for just a couple of months.

Since our telephone conversation last night, I have decided that I shall stop attempting to contact her from now on. I will also try to force myself to delete her contact details later.

That is my current frame of mind right now. I don't think she cheated me during the period we were together and I believe that she had some feelings for me too although not as strong as how I felt about her. The issue about her having a bf in China, well, she told me once that she had a bf in China in the past. To me at this moment, whether that was in the past or still current is no longer important.

I am trying very hard to let it all go and thanks to bro DYBJ, I think I've made tremendous improvement today. To steal a phrase from bro DYBJ I've just learnt, 我们永远一起，但是我们永远不会在一起。 My interpretation of this phrase is different form his though, to me it means that she will forever be there in my memories, but we will never be together physically. I wish her well in her life ahead.

For the past couple of months, I've totally neglected my work. In the few days after she left, I merely stared at my computer in the office and was unable to concentrate at all. Today, I managed to worked my ass off without once looking at her photos. Hopefully this is the start of my recovery. Next step is to delete her contact details. I've already deleted all the smses she sent me in the past.

After the 1st time we met for kopi bro, my demon appeared.
3 nites of roller coaster rides
Nite 1 was wif her from 7:30am to 2:30pm (just talked and talked)
Nite 2 was wif her from 4:30am till noon (ended up in hotel)
