Manila. THis thread is Makati/Manila and not Clark. Got feedback from her that 2-3 guys sms her with 8 numbers only. I suspect you guys using SG number. Please use local ph sim so she can reply. I mentioned a few times, IT IS EXPENSIVE FOR PINAYS TO REPLY TO SG #.

Its 20 peso a text, which is peanuts for us but not for Filipinos. When they stretch a few hundred peso, expecting them to spend for text is beyond silly.

If I expect a girl to reply my SG # if my ph no is MIA, I will load their number first.

I also often get feedback about customers who call the girls from their SG #, and expect the girl to call back

Please lah.

Get a local SIM, and if it's too much hassle, Go to lucky plaza and buy a pre paid roaming SIM.

And another reminder, pinoys don't generally answer phone calls when they are outside, due to fear of phone snatching.

On second thoughts, I know some guys trying to save money

Hence asking for wechat, Whatsapp, Viber, forgetting Wifi is a luxury for most Filipinos

You got it bro. Also, if you come to Philippines, a lot of times they are giving free sim cards just outside customs checkout. You can even get both SMART and GLOBE, Both are good. And yes most of them don't have data on their sim and only rely on free wifi in the malls.

True. Though some of them are using wechat or viber but rarely whatsapp. Kakao is also popular due to koreans using it. I usually get my contacts from PH forums but can't recommend to you guys as it contains mostly tagalog so most won't understand also.

So can I confirm that bars in Burgos and EDSA will operate as normal even on X-mas eve 24th, 25 and 26th ?

Should be. But don't expect too much on eve of 24th and 25th itself as they might be celebrating it with their families. And its also long weekend here as monday is holiday. Some might go back to their province if they have.

My experience says, pinays must go home for Holy Week, comparatively less pressured for X mas. And family prefer the waitress girls to send money and gifts for Christmas than expecting them home

That's MY experience.

Especially when the girl has been telling the family about wonderful customers who give great gifts ! Why miss out on more gifts ?

PS, this season tickets for ferry and flights are high, so except the girls from nearby towns, most will stay put, and their mummy organise parties for girls away from home
