Thx bro porcupine for the mention also. But i am definitely not an experienced cheongster. I am actually pretty much like you, sentimental and emotional, hence always somehow develop feelings on my own even though they did not do much KC. Like what DO_YOU_BJ said, maybe i should stay out of the WL arena. Currently, i am happy enough to treat them as my friends and hope that they do too.

I must thank all the bros here for their invaluable input as well. Thx for the support and words of wisdom in my darkest hours.

I like to think of the more traditional mindset by starting of as friends and later perhaps as lovers. Not from bed to lovers, hence i am taking a step back here, the term 'friends' is not meant to be a false front for anything la. Definitely will look to greener pastures but does not mean i cannot keep my friends. Cast a net wide and far reaching and hope to catch a fish.

Actually l tink it is hard to keep them as frenz. The frenz r/s is jus a disguise, in fact, in the guy heart, there must be sum likings for the gal. In the 1st place, why u wan to keep them as frenz. If they treat u no good, u will wan to keep them as frenz mehs? U recognise and keep them as frenz becos they treat u well and nice, or can click with u mah.

Anyway l still dun quite believe frenz r/s between guys and gals. Jus my own humble opinions.

The real issue here is like what you wrote, "buy". At the end of the day, we all must realise that whatever feelings between us and WLs are bought and not entirely genuine. I always believe that a good and healthy relationship should not have any trade offs (ie, i give u gifts, in return i get sex) , even if it does, the party must be willing to give w/o asking. A relationship based on trade offs is bound to die when either party stops giving.

Just a cautionary tale for the many PRC WL fans here - A friend of mine just related this scary story to me -
A relative of my friend met and in the process "fell n love" with a PRC WL (KTV in this case). The romance blossomed and the guy fell into this PRC girl clutches and truly thought there was real love between them. She convinced him to loan him $200k SGD!!!! The idiot mortaged his house and took out a 200k OD line and passed her the money! 3 months has passed and he cannot find the PRC (totally no sound no picture), and he confess to his wife when the wife saw his bank account statement by chance(the property under husband name)! I think the wife may forgive him (lucky dude).
Hope this does not happen to bros here.
