Yes bro, I just finished reading the autobiography of Singapore's famed criminal lawyer, and he mentioned inside that he goes to one of the Havelock joints (can't remember the exact joint he mentioned, but the boss of the joint was shot by this 'one-eyed dragon') to sing. He mentioned that he only goes there to sing and drink with his buddies and nothing else, but we all know better on what goes on in those kinda places.

There is indeed a shooting of a Lido Palace figure... but has to go back 17 years to 1994 where a very famous LP mamasan Mona Koh was shot at Katong and she had been wheelchair bound since. Gunman was not caught. Last saw her in a wheelchair at LP during SH session back in 2010. She is in her sixties now.
