Last night very crowded.....all because change band? Now got many joints got Thai bands too.....but I hate it when they sing mandrain songs.....

Thats quite true bro, some of them can't sing the chinese song correctly, and funny thing is that nobody actually reflect to them... Everytime sing with wrong lyrics... Other than this, I admit that the female singers from some of the bands are really very sexy with model standards..

Besides little thailand, I think there are quite a few small Thai discos, pubs in Geylang... But I'm sure the most happening one are still the Peng Thai Disco in GoldenMile..

Was there yesterday night, 2nd storey. Never expect that even on monday night will be so crowded..

Think the band is Collection Band.. Not bad... But was a bit drunk liao.. drank at Geylang Lor 15 before going down.. Order 1 jug, very sianz, just about half a mug, my friend said he drunk and he wants to leave first.. Met my Thai friend.. join them sit, just for a short while then left liao.. Expenditure at Thai Disco - $20 inclusive of tips.(Share with friend). Quite a few ladies, but most of them with guys..

Expecting next trip next monday. Depends...

Why this thread no updates one? I know many samsters go there leh, go every night one also have.....now quite a number of joints got Thai live band but majority still singing mostly english and madrain songs.....

I thought with the Collection Band, things maybe different, but turn out, they still sing the same old songs that Sir Duke used to sing.

Actually I prefer Sir Duke over the Collection Band.

I dun understand why they play chinese and english song in thai pub~ they chose stick to pure thai song

Actually I prefer Sir Duke over the Collection Band.

Update on the girls/dancers etc.....all the bros want to keep the good stuff to themselves.....I go to other joints with Thai bands also hear the same few songs.... during dedication time in Geographer I requested for 'Chua Fah Din Sa Lai' they can actually tell me they dun know sing it and ask I come back tomorrow night again while they go back and learn the song!!! Wah lau eh......

Not everyone can speak Thai like you mah.....they must play some other langagues songs to satisfy the rest of the patrons who are not into Thai.....then again I also wonder why those not into Thai go to Thai Disco for fuck? Remember bro like last time in 68 when those like to belt out hokkien and mandrain songs......

U mean those guy that try to make the thai gal adapt to our local culture rather than enjoying the thai style? i feel if u want to have local kind of feel, should go to the local scene where they play local song. By the way long time never hear u " roo mai wa chan kit theng"

Thats not true... they used to play lots of Thai song which attracts many siam kia until some chinese customer don't want to go.. Many cases of Siam kia fight with chinese mostly because of women (Sometimes also drunkard cases), a few times, some 50+ Dai lou kena whack by siam kia injured seriously, some Chinese customers complaint, And the boss Richard wants to change the way and put the attraction on local customer instead of Thai customers..
