Usually I buy the deals online for Batam Trip when going with SO.
Like what other bros mentioned, if you going alone, or going to 'cheong', no point in getting the deals, unless its really cheap even if you go alone =)

Usually the deal cost will exclude the $27 ferry tax... So well, for eg...

The deal mentioned XXX Hotel and is at $80 for 2 pax, include 1hr massage (Try not to take those shopping type package), and include tax ($27), total is $107

You checked online the price for this XXX Hotel is $60 per night. So meaning $60 (Hotel) + $38? (Ferry Tix) + $27 (Tax) = $125

Meaning the deal is cheaper.

I just went with my Bro (HSZ) last weekend.
I say it is pretty worth it....go places which you never had chance go before.
But, it is best bring your chick along....

First day is tour all the places via bus.....pick you up at ferry point....go places......then finally sent you to hotel at about 6pm like that.
So you have to stick to the tour.....
You can cheong after dinner....
Next day.....free n easy....check out 12pm.....someone will pick you up n sent you to ferry point.

Ours is more or less same itinerary.
I was expecting cock ups.....but everything was planned nicely through the tour guide.
But as mentioned.....best is bring along chick like other does.
Go tour......makan....shop....go back hotel for piak piak.....dinner.....walk around....then go back piak piak all the way.

The shops which the tour guide brought us to charge expensive prices lor.

Yup.....usually it is for 2 person lah...so bring along piak piak partner.

If go with cheong friend....then ogle at other ppl's chick during the guided tour.....endure until the bus sent you to the designated hotel @ 6pm....check in.....take dinner....then can go out look for piak piak.

I'm in Batam this week factory audit, thinking of having a good time at night but return to hotel already 11pm, and next day 7am company van pickup to factory.

Any one has any ceweks mobile to share? She can meet after 11pm and stay overnite just for 6hrs? I'm not staying near Nagoya but company corporate hotels, Swiss - Inn. Hotel Massage parlor only SPA clean & pricey.

Me also bad luck, SMS a brother's recommanded taxi driver name Mansor this morning but I dropped my new iPhone 4S. Now also forgot the mobile no.

Thanks & regards if any brother can share ctc to cheer me up this trip.
