Hmm...time to start planning for the May 2016 trip since 1st of May is a public holiday...super long weekend from 29th April 2016 onward,Batam bound to be ultra crowded.2nd May 2016,Monday is a public holiday too.
No date-to-go as yet.
5th May was a public holiday for Indonesian and followed by a super long weekend for them.
21st May 2016 would be Vesak day,a public holiday for Indonesians,Malaysians and Singaporeans. Therefore 20th May onward would be yet another super long weekend.
28th May 2016 and onward will be school holidays for Singaporeans.
Ramadan starts 6th June 2016,Monday onward....until 5th July 2016,Tuesday. And whereby 4th July 2016,Monday to 8th July 2016,Friday will be a public holiday in Indonesia. Hari Raya Puasa will be on the 6th July 2016,a Wednesday.
Which then means the coast will only be clear after 11th July 2016.
Now my Batam traveling picture plan becomes clearer after having it all noted down,hehehe....its 29th April as of this post,collected statistics just told me many would be in Batam hereon,may you guys have a good time.
