With the peanuts rental yield the money is better off with a guaranteed 12 Month Fixed Deposit (3.25%) in a China Bank.
Even more returns if you know how to play bonds and structured deposits in international markets.
I've downgraded THB as junk currency.
Good for spending but not good to hold short to mid term.
