Frankly I don't see why there can't be genuine platonic relationships. It just takes some degree of emotional maturity and a sense of respect. I mean unless you're mental you won't be shoving your dong/pussy at your attractive friends of the opposite sex.

Fantasies are common and healthy but there's a choice whether you exercise it or not. We always have a choice.

Let's say even if a man is emotionally mature, but is secretly attracted to the lady friend with whom he maintains a respectful, platonic relationship with. He is still gonna go home and masturbate to her facebook pics or thinking of her.

Some people can do this and maintain a wonderful long friendship. Some try their luck and just destroy everything.
I do feel disappointed when this happens. Means the friendship is worth less than having a ONS with me.

It is possible to have a long relationship that does not result in destruction. But it takes tremendous love and maturity from both parties. Free from jealousy and possessiveness.
The feeling is both heartbreaking and priceless.

I can think of 2 reasons why platonic friendship can be maintain.

1)She must be bad looking or fat
2)Wanna get to know more of her surrounding friends.

Let's be honest about it. Men are very visual animals, if your female friends are HOT & flaunt their figures, it'll be quite impossible not to fantasize unless her attitude is a huge turn off. You guys know what I mean
