So my point was that sexual desire is a baseline for men it cannot be counted against us and also stated that it wasn't in Plato's opinion to exclude sexuality totally from the Platonic ideal. After that, you looked at my comment on being judged for our actions and not thoughts; pasted a chunk of religious text stating that thoughts can be sinful thereby trying to imply that we can be judged on our thoughts. Hence I commented that we have to take the scripture with a pinch of salt.If you did not read and interpret what the pasted text meant was it a coincidence that both chunks are on the same topic of "sin by thought"?

Thank you!! Yes, this is a secular discussion. Its more on human emotions, on a social setting how would a guy behave.
So far, most of us have pointed out the limited scope platonic can happen. As to really acting out not many would as they have the big head to think about potential of losing the friend, having a bad reputation, embarrassment etc. And also hanging out alone together would fan the desire beyond control level n the guy would have his other head take control.
On a personal situation, I felt abit sad. We have been great friends n after the "I feel like hugging u" comment, its kind of hard to continue to hangout alone or text too much.

There's this very fine invisible line of a platonic friendship between a female & a male.
Once this invisible line is CROSSED, nothing can ever be the same again.
