Would strongly advise new cheongsters to stay at nagoya area near nagoya mall... easy to go joints and walk around... penguin area near bcs mall is more to seasoned players who know batam key areas well and just want to relax and escape from the "busy" and "chaotic" environment in nagoya... just from my point of view though... haha...

Batam offers alot of fun which is not available in spore like:

Must eat in Batam? Too many to think liao. A & W is in batam centre, rezeki ? It is abit far out, unless u travel in group, if not, not worth the time and cost.

Return? Alamak, just go to the counter and ask for ticket back lah. or you buy 2 way at 48 dollars and just produce the ticket and say you want return, they will give you the boarding pass. Note that sundays returning is very packed. If you plan to return on sunday, BOOK IT ON SATURDAY FIRST, stating your return time.

YEs, once you reach the ferry terminal at harbour bay, you proceed to the mall, at the centre, the ferry ticketing is in there, just 5 minute walk, covered shelter into the mall. Pick your timing and return ticket if you want to pre book your ticket( especially on sunday), weekdays are ok.

Lovina Inn Nagoya (with lift) is opposite formosa hotel surrounded by many pick-up joint and near Nagoya hill mall.

Lovina Inn Penuin (without lift) is near Batam City Square mall and A2 foodcourt.

Opps sorry it is 7730. I don't have there are 2 Lovina. Only saw the name Lovina from my hotel next to A2 Food Court only. hee
