Not that many can read english. Chinese population? Maybe about 15 to 20% Chinese tend to gather in few areas. Not that many are FL. The beautiful ones are kept by rich singkees liao.

Some of the other food courts also follow the Kara oke. Still prefer A1. maybe used to eating at that place. By the way, a new food court coming up next to DC mall? Looks empty now. Any ideas what it may become?

A1 is still my choice. Get to see more gals around, er... WL, I mean.

My first visit there I tried zi cha in one of the many stalls there, standard of food was like
2nd trip there I went for Lagoon BBQ seafood, and that was my stall for the next few trips.
Price wise? The rental in Harbor Bay is much higher then those of A1 and elsewhere, so it was a little bit on the high side (by Batam standard), but I won't mind paying that little extra for the sea front environment (dinning by the cost), especially when there's no KPKB KARA not too OK disturbing my peace when I'm trying to have my dinner.

Just wondering....is Balai or any other mongering destination in the region really worth the trip as opposed to Batam? I know Batam very well and always return home satisfied so I keep going back...but I'd be interested in some new turf if it's really worth the hassle of the extra distance and learning my way around a new place and so forth.

So tell me...what compelling reasons would I have to leave my comfort zone and go to Balai or other places instead of just keep going back to Batam? Girls better? Younger? Cheaper?
