Hi all shifus of batam , been reading on this thread for quite a while. I am planning my first maiden trip there in the near future. I was wondering if I bring S$300.00 for a 2 day 1 night be sufficient ? I am strictly going there for a good massage and a bonk. Maybe some shopping.Thanks in advance .

More than enough if you spend it wisely, and bargain. Quite a few cheap hotels. As for transport, make sure you take registered taxis.

Hi I am new in this and I hope to gain more knowledge regarding Batam activities and the people frequent it. Also read quite a lot and found it's very interesting I do go to batam but only once a month. recently read about ndnd expenses in batam it sound interesting to me wonder if ndnd would care to share with me or maybe give me some guidance with all the experience he had i am sure it will be very useful to me.

Bro, Visit batam once a mth consider not new to batam mah.. That is more than many bros here. Not many visit that frequent to batam.
My experience just that I ever live like their local in batam, that's all only. Every Rp100 coin counts. I control on my expenses in batam, due to I frequent visit, that's why have to know what to spend on and what need not spend on. Never be a carrot

Eg. For a bro that visit once a month, of course can spend more, let say one trip plus ferry 300. But I visit 4 time a month. If I spend the same way, that will make 1200 a mth. Let say if I spend 150 inclu ferry per visit, min. I will still need to spend 600 a mth in batam.
If you need any info, u can just post here, not only me, many senior bros here sure will help and reply you.

Anyway what type of info u need?

the $48 ferry ride is no discount...don`t take taxi , take ojek or even walk..stay at 100k hotel..eat at coffeeshops (breakfast at pasar coffeeshops)...no karaoke..get the 350k cewek..and no seafood...if you can do all these, you save money..hehe!!!....better still simpan one at 2.5 juta..but no curi ayam...haha!!!!

bro hendri 2.5j to simpan cewek sound ok but how do you monitor your cewek won't curi ayam to me i find very difficult to keep track since i am in singapore perhap bro ndnd care to comment maybe it's a kind of gamble if you to simpan or just like most bro do go there have a good time and back oh i forget to mentioned that once a month only this year

If u hold a passport, just keep at home, then go ICA report miss place, u cant find it. Then make a new passport. The old one just keep at home lor. Your wife will only see the old passport at home. New passport keep outside lah. When u go oversea, your wife still see your passport at home, then she don't know lor..
If you going oversea with wife, then surrender your old passport, say you found it. But the lastest one missing, do a new one again lor. One passport not so expensive mah..

Same as ur IC, ICA oso keep record of one's reported missing passports too. "Lost" too many time, the authority may juz issue u a temporary single pass but not another new passport for u.

U may even be blacklisted!

That's why just report miss place, can't find. Once report lose or miss place, will take as one count, but after u "found" it and submit to ICA, they will write off that count.

If got two count of missing passport, and third one also missing, will be ban for 5 years can not make pasport.

Wife check passport? Well, make up reasons lor, go with friends on business, or for fun, like makan, resorts, golfing, and etc... Batam got quite a few golf resorts loh, no need to make few passports.

Of cos, best not to let her hire PI to follow lah...

Ya lor. Such a hassle going to n fro ICA bldg...reporting/making/pytm of passports. I got frd oso gave excuse like golfing/fishing. WahLou. They really bring along their barang2....juz to justify their excuses..

For regulars i.e. every fortnite/mthly, the best method is to say go gamble ship, imo. Only setback...he musnt be a Malay/Muslim...
