Hi Guys , yes i've also booked a Junior Suite in Hotel 89 from 16/17/18-December.Amy reviews? Any good place outside hotel89? Is it far away from Permata indah-Windsor ?

It is not too far. Windsor is a few bloks away from this hotel. beside Tua Pek kong, and further down is winsor food court liao.

There is a spa and massage in this hotel. clean one. and a gym too.

first will be at Swiss inn and the second will be at the hills.



may I humbly seek help from the bros here as to check of there are any good reccomendations nearby these 2 places.



and what is the budget to set if I'm going for 3d2n excluding lodging and travelling?

You may try Swiss Hotel infront of Hotel 89 along the stretch of Top 100

Nice clean hotel . Alternative to Amir hotel is M-1 hotel promo at RP250k

If Batam centre there is a new hotel Harris Batam Center hotel or Harmoni 1

Check out their websites or Agoda for better rates

But this hotels are far away (30-40 minits drive) to Nagoya

Hi guys I'm new to this forum. Was thinking of planning a 2 day 1 night trip to batam with about 4 army buddies to celebrate our ORD. 

As I'm sort of the group leader, I'm kinda in charge of the planning. Our intentions is to go and have a nice bonking overnight session, eat some good cheap seafood, cheap booze and cigarettes. Budget is set at sgd300 max per person. My camp encik recommended a driver and gave me his hp no, but i read a post from this thread saying getting a driver is a big NO-NO. So any advice?

I read thru about 200 pages of this thread, a lot of priceless information and tips provided here. 

First up, boat trips 2 ways seems to be a standard 48sgd. That is reasonable for me.  I've read a post saying to take the ferry from harbourfront to batu ampar as it's nearer to those cheonging places. May I know the nearest ferry terminal to Nagoya area?  

As for ceweks wise, I heard of a few joints like goldbird (need to know the location), queens, etc.

The choice of hotel will depend on which cheonging area is closer. Any advice? I was thinking of the formosa hotel, pacific hotel or the hills hotel. 

As this is our bergin trip I hope it will go smoothly and not disappoint my buddies, any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Swiss Inn Bethel in near Peniun, and abit further towards DC mall, there are a few food court to makan. Many massage( with sepcials) in that area, Massage 82 and Pemai Indah is there too.

The Hills... It is located infront( behind) of Nagoya Hills. The hotel has inhouse massage with specials. Sphinks is near this hotel too.

Cheonging budget? The sky is the limit. Depend on what you want.

usual breakdown -gals are buget at 300K average onwards for long time. Massage with specials is about 150 to 250K with specials.

Food wise is cheap, depend on what you order, seafood for 2 or 3 can go about 150 to 200K, depend on what you order too. Usual food like zhi cha like bee hoon is about 14K, beer is about 26K per bottle.

taxi is best nego on the spot IN RUPIAH before boarding. take a card of your hotel, and show it to the driver if you dono how to speak indo. If possible, take the taxi FROM THE HOTEL. Those unmarked ones are no advisable.

there are good seafood in Harbourbay too... at nite and pubs in that place. For pick up and massage, go to OCEAN, next to the pub. there is a massage and a pub by the same name.

If you got car and go in a group, try REZEKI, in batu besar. Cheaper and nice place, but a bit far.
