Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
A straight forward game against bottom 3 game tonight.. a sure win? Forgot Bolton?
I'll be happy with a scrappy 1 goal win.... AC should score tonight... 1-0!

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
i will be very happy with a undeserved 1-0 tonight!
QPR attack has lotsa pace with SWP,Cisse and Taraabt, hopefully Carra and Co. can cope with it. Also it looks like Bellamy could be out for a long time, he is not injured, it has more to do with a fight with Kenny over the Sunderland game. This is according to John Aldridge. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Liverpool team v QPR: Reina, Enrique, Kelly, Carragher, Skrtel, Adam, Spearing, Gerrard, Downing, Kuyt, Suarez
Subs: Carroll, Henderson, Coates, Doni, Shelvey, Flanagan, Aurelio looks like a 4-5-1 / 4-2-3-1 formation to me.. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Woke up just to see QPR 3 - Liverpool 2 after leading 0 - 2
Coates scored the 1st goal followed by Kuyt. Sigh............................ |
|

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
played reasonably well but lost to QPR 15mins of madness...just to say wrong day to play QPR who is fighting for survival...Liv controlled 3/4 of the game...and lost due to some poor defending at the end...QPR had the better luck...

when i look at the match stats.............Pool should win the game hands down.
Suarez again hit the woodwork plus other missed chances. oh well.............off to work but less spirited |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Watched the whole match but too numb to post any updates. I stll don't understand how they could concede 2 goals in the air when they have Coates and Skrtel in central defence. And I want to mention Reina again, he did nit even move for these 2 goals. I don't know, u thought he has been in quite poor form, does anyone have any stats on how many shots he saved?
Adam, Henderson was completely anonymous. I thought Kuty played his heart out, so did Spearing. Nothing from the right wing again, everything down the left and middle, too predictable. I loathe to call them unlucky again, someone have to take the blame. For this game, I'll point it at Reina and the defence. And KD, why can't he just do a direct swap of Flanagan for Kelly? Arrggghhh...

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Nightmare... How we lose the game 2-0 up with 20min left is really a mystery..
It is unacceptable and many have to take responsibility.... What else to say... They let us down once again...

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
This is the problem from day 1.
I advocate for Jamie C to be remove from the team and glorify him in another manner. There should be meetings to solve the defend lapses and the responsibility of the back four. I mean sit down and thrash it out talks, gosh if it comes to heated blows and vulgarity thrown ..so be it. Nobody want to take responsibility for all these lapses and the sooner the team do the needful..i reckon issues will be resolve. Pepe cant be left out..the guy should come clean and another top class keeper should be brought in. I watched the Q.P.R game live..pool playing was not too bad but the end was so dissapointing to say the least. Defending and the mannerism which they conceded was such a bloody waste. Nobody scamper to defend , nobody suffered or want to suffer any bruises with the opponent.. to say at least chase the ball at the last moment. Not surprise..if Liverpool were to end up in 10th place at the end of the season. I hope hell break loose with Kenny now. Sell the Goat By the name of Carrol and bring in a hot striker. |

I gave up on the league this season in January and just focus on the cups haha. On the plus side, hey we are finally scoring goals! Coates's goal was a real peach! Cannot stress further that there is a lot of work to be done in the summer. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
coates goal is the only positive from the match.
can't believe we conceded 2 straight-forward header goals. i think we / KD can't always blame our luck, nor looking at the no of scoring chances we've created.. the fact is that we're not winning games! i would prefer KD to start playing some of the youngster for the remaining BPL games, finishing 7th or 10th doesn't make a big difference after all. we have flanagan, shelvey, suso, robinson, sterling excel in reserve games, they need 1st team experience.. i agreed tat KD was a good choice to be brought in to stablise the team after RH's disaster period... but i had and still have reservation on whether he's the right man to bring us back to where we belongs, a serious contender to BPL and a feared team in Europe... the owner need to sit down and seriously think about what's the next steps to bring the team n club forward...

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
as always, defensive lapses killed us. to be honest, Carragher and Skrtel were defending well until Carragher was moved to right back to accommodate Coates in the centre. From then on, Liverpool conceded 3 goals. Not sure if bringing Flanagan in for Kelly instead would have prevented some, if not all of the goals we conceded?
11 corners in the first 20 minutes of the game, we should have killed off the game in the first half. Not to mention, Downing and Suarez did have clear cut chances which they did not take advantage of, and they proved to be crucial. I stress again, our attacking options are limited and we have a shortage of strength in depth. Last night we only had Carroll on the bench as our attacking option. Aurelio, Flanagan and Coates are defenders while Henderson and Shelvey are CMs. On the field, we already have 3 CMs playing! Gerrard, Adam and Spearing. With Maxi and Bellamy constantly in and out of the team, how are we going to sustain a top four finish? |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
TERRIBLE DEFENDING !!! What else can I say but to say I am utterly disappointed with todays game . http://soccernet.espn.go.com/report/_/id/318018?cc=4716 I guess King Kenny got no more excuses to give and need to take some fo the blame. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...defeat?cc=4716 Dalglish can't explain defeatMarch 21, 2012 Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish could not find an explanation for his side's collapse against QPR on Wednesday. Liverpool were 2-0 up at Loftus Road with just over 15 minutes remaining in the Premier League contest, but somehow contrived to lose 3-2 after Jamie Mackie grabbed an injury-time winner for the relegation-threatened Hoops. Dalglish once again bemoaned a lack of cutting edge in front of goal, although he did not believe QPR deserved anything from the game. "I don't think anybody saw it coming. The players started the game fantastically, but the only thing missing was a bit of luck in front of goal," Dalglish said. "I couldn't see them getting a goal. I can't explain it. Maybe the luck they didn't get at Bolton they got tonight. "Most of the game we were dominant, creative, professional." Dalglish's opposite number Mark Hughes was more upbeat, however, claiming that the victory would spark his side to stay out of trouble over the remainder of the campaign. "It is a huge win for us. You expect a team of Liverpool's quality to close the game out," Hughes noted. "The manner of win will give us confidence. We showed belief, drive, determination - things you need to get out of situation we are in." If we can't even beat a QPR how can we even hope for a 4th spot finish. I think I do agree with some of the bros here that our season is over in the BPL . We should give the youngsters a chance to gain some playing experience. Seriously we need to relook at some of the players in the team. Some of them are still no performing up to par . Can King Kenny turn around Liverpool after this defeat ? Only time will tell.
