Spot on. Looking at the other 7 teams in the quarter finals, probably only Sparta Prague and Braga are the so called "weaker" teams.

No disrespect to them, but Dortmund, Sevilla and Athletic Bilbao are the teams I wanted Liverpool to avoid drawing against.

Even if Liverpool were to draw Sparta Prague or Braga and progress to the semi finals, other stronger teams await.

Drawing against the stronger teams will mean the Liverpool players are unlikely to be complacent, they will give their 100%.

Dortmund really look impressive against Tottenham. Easily a class above them. Even spurs played their full strength team also won't be a match for them.

Maybe that's why their manager choose to surrender the first league to concentrate on the league.

Lucas is a good back up player that's all. Commits unnecessary fouls easily n giving away many free kicks. He reads the game well but is constantly lacking in pace. Will have problem keeping up with klopp's hard pressing tactics.

Fair comments but I think Lucas' overall game and versatility has improved under Klopp, just like Allen. We need someone to deal with Aubameyang and I think Lucas maybe able to do it.

Back to tonight's match at St Mary's, would be interesting to see Benteke and Origi start together upfront perhaps.

This is what I've been saying ...he can never be a top player...due to his nature...I always understand strikers are judge by goals ...but this guy is 10 shots 1 goal type of player...always think he is above everyone just because he scores but on a higher level view, his contribution is always not effective - I'm pretty sad when he scores that second goal he went to celebrate himself rather than going to Origi who went pass 2 defenders to pass...maybe I just hate DS nomatter how many he scores blinded by hate ..
