One of the "what if" that I struggle with is what if my family contract STD through sharing food with me ? There will be situations where your kids will lean over to drink your coke in the movies, or your OC may ask you to bite her apple. I am sure cheongsters (especially the hardcore ones) know that uneasy feeling ?
Dear Horsepower,

For a start, when you started to cheong, you should consider going for regular checkups to ensure that you do not contract anything nasty that may pass on to family members, physically - your wife will be your first victim. Think about that before thinking about spreading through food.

AR and bbbj - both are never safe from STIs and put you at substantial risks of contracting them. Chances of getting infected with STIs remain relatively common.

So far, there is no proper documentation to prove that food sharing will transmit any STI/HIV. This is especially so for HIV, and we at AfA do not advocate separating your meal times with your family members even if you contract HIV.

The only reason why you felt uneasy is because you know sub-conciously, you have done something which might have been a jeopardy to your family members...but conciously in denial...

Moment of folly, will bring you an eternity of guilt that will have everlasting ill effects not only to yourself and also your love ones. Go for a test - STIs and HIV at DSC or our annoymous testing site, and stop being paranoid. Be responsible, noone should bear or shoulder your pain. Protect yourself, protect your family and live out of that uneasiness.

Best wishes

whilst there is no proof yet that STD can be spread thru eating, Hep A/ B & TB can...and they are equally dangerous disease that can be spread thru sex...

So just do take care

These two terms are used interchangeably.

Hi there, you should be a member/counselor of AFA. Just read the sunday newpaper that 5 volunteers in the MSM, (Men have sex with Men) outreach programme have contracted HIV virus. I do know that volunteers are humans, thus have desires too. But I wonder how come this incident has happened and DSC has difficulty in revealing the figures as always? So am I right in saying that this is only the tip of the iceberg? Or these "so-called volunteers" have volunteers themselves in this programme as a channel to know more guys?

Re: Do you share food/drinks with you family members ?

Dear bro Rof|maoxz, i think it is better that we do not judge these gentlemen. I do not know why they joined the MSM outreach program, and it is not up to me to judge. But i think the temptation was too great for them, just like when we see a very chio gal with big boobs being exposed, we will also feel like PCC The sad thing that they should have been safe, being trained to counsel people on safe sex. But again, we do not know what happened, maybe for some of them practice safe sex, but sway sway, cd break. In any case, i feel that we should not condemn AfA, but rather support it more so that more can be done to prevent HIV transmission.

P/S: This is just a matter of my personal opinion. Please do not hold anything against me
