it depends which places my boss send me for special missions. cheonging hard in Japan too. but yes BKK has lost its charm to me due to unfavourable exchange rates and rising costs in cheongng places. i am enjoying the weak HK dollar at the moment. never been a better time. i will cheong Thailand more frequent when rates go above the S$1 to THB24 region.

Very true. These guides take cuts not only from the drinks but also from the mm. From the mm between 2 to 400rmb each.

Thus the ktv will not give the guide clients the better room during the hot period and weekends.

We will not see the better mm as the mummies will keep them for their direct clients. Simple, the good mm can get clients easily why need to pay the guides the cut ? The not easy move second grade mms are for the guide clients.

Funny, it's only happen in ZH. In other parts of China like Zhong san, Chang an, Qiao tao, Chang ping and Shen zhen are not like that. Even the operaters in XGX agreeds.

If you do not mind getting the second grade mm in ktv, then go with the guide. Many mummies also taught their mms that the clients fm the guide are tourists, pay tourist price and thus deserve tourist treatment.

Try going directly to any ktv in ZH yourself without the guides. You will notice the different. You will see the top grade mms you never seen before. Get to know the mummy better, may be tip her 2 to 300rmb, she will tell you all the stories. That's value for money.....

Go direct..... No guide.
