Whenever I see “deposit” mentioned, straightaway ke belakang pusing. Kene scammed in my younger days. Really brought me for a ride. Say must deposit half to “book”. Then transfer some more for hotel and transport. Then postpone say son sick la. Then ask for help pay clinic bills all. After that mia. Wah was such a naive boy.

Now if I see for whatever lj reason, even if really actually true, see deposit ? No thank you bye. Got some also reason very flimsy. Deposit first cos past case, guy fuck then leave without paying. So I say, I come I pay cash first before anything. Still don’t want. ??? Obv scammer. Unfortunate but that’s the terrain we have to navigate now

Wah. sorry to hear that bro.

I've tried about 5 Australian FLs during my time in Australia. All required deposit and even would call to "screen" me in some cases but never gotten scammed. Only time I really kena something similar is an FL who after getting into the lift, suddenly say "not feeling well" but that one I never deposit so no loss.
