The reds should have won . Crough was outstanding! Risse was wasteful! I begin to see sign of his departures. He used to be one of my favourites.I thought Skirtel was effective as well.Next, to finish Arsenal off at Anfield.

That new French youngster Damien Plessis was only 20 yrs old. He was sign by Liverpool from Lyon on August 2007 on the transfer deadline. Role is holding defender & was currently playing in the Liverpool reserve sides before this game.

After the match Rafa was full of praise for Damien Plessis as he was making his premiership debut. And what a game he had, putting a solid display. Looks like he will be coming to the senior side soon.

Crouch also have a gd game, scoring a goal as well. Benayoun give him credit for that assist to Crouch.

After tonite's game, Liverpool will a big confidence & finish the Gunners off at Anfield next wk.

Ya, he didn't even try to come out to challenge the ball. The delivered ball is pretty near to Reina and the cross hung in the air for some time. This is getting to be our weakness, players running around our zone markers to score.

I feel that Rafa deliberately tried to shag out the Arsenal defenders. I think Gallas's legs will be feeling the effects of 2 hard games now. Putting Gerrard on and the Torres was a good move. The 2 of them really shagged the central defenders with their speed and trickery.

Rafa made 8 changes and Wenger made 5 for the game, and Wenger gets asked about rotation after the draw. Finally for once someone else to feel the heat!

So who wants to win the CL and who wants to win the BPL now? Wenger, any replies?

i quite respect Mr Wenger,but when the Reds comes into the picture any 1 besides Liverpool FC in soccer business becomes 2nd.
i believe they got a resonable gd results fr the last 2 games.
hw many teams k go 2 emirates within 4 days,& get 2 draws.
they will finish off them on tuesday.
the repeat of UCL SF bet Liverpool & chelsea awaits all.

i agree reina is poor at crosses but once again our defenders let him dwn,zonal marking in free play is ok,but not frm corners or freekicks.we have been caught out twice now against arsenal.

huh no one s complaning abt our rotation now huh,rafa noes wats he s doing,look at the side he put out on sat we had 9 internatinonals out there in the starting 11 with the luxury of bringing on 2 big guns late on in the game.there is a premiership winning side in them somewhere. A RED TILL I DIE.

Bro, of course dangerous to base our comments on 1 match. But I think what it shows is that we have improved in our second string. Compare our team at Arse yesterday to our 2 teams against Arse at Anfield last season and it's clear we are stronger.

with 33 games played,Liverpool is in 4th place above everton with 63 pts against 60pts.
Don't think they hv a chance of catching 3rd place Arsenal as they r 8pts behind with only 5 games left 4 all teams in the EPL.
the only realistic thing is win the 4the place again.

vs blackburn at home on 13/4;
vs fulhan away on 19/4;
vs birmingham away on 26/4;
vs manc at home on 3/5 AND
vs spurs away on 11/5.

For CL we should be able to go through. All we need is a draw but playing at home ground , I think Liverpool will go out for a win. We have a bigger squad than Arsenal and Arsenal players will be very tired and frustrated by now why they can't beat Liverpool at Emirates.

Although Liverpool have the away goal & only need a goalless draw to advance to the semis, as they are playing at Anfield, they will want to win the game in front of the faithful Liverpool fans & go thru' convincingly.

Some of the gunners are already feeling the strain of having to play so many games till now, so I fancied Liverpool's chance.
