Widi express stop due to operation safety that time. THere was once or twice when the waves are too huge and they could not dock. The passengers are transfered to a bigger ship to come back.

Also, nowdays, the extra charges ( security fee, oil subcharges and so on) are about 50% of the total fees you paid. IT goes into goven( both side) coffers, not the shipping company,

Bros, it is confirmed that they are having raid for the past 25 and 26. Heard a lot of officers came from Jakarta for the raid. Don't know about the outcome. All young gals were asked to go shopping!

Bro, I see this issue the other way round. Most likely sg gahment want to restrict ah pek spending their cpfs in batam rather than resort world. See, $50 ferry ticket to Batam without accomodation. $100 can huat liao, some more within walking distance!

Also, gahment won't want young guys bring back more free gifts home. You see, I don't see the point to put "domestic", even though is international ferry terminal (to Batam) in Habour front. It can be, but of course they can say is due to cost, anywhere other than luxurious strategic location sandwiched between our IR and HF cum Vivo Jumbo. Don't you see that?

Btw, I heard will be shifted to Tanah Merah in future, to further restrict our ambition to go to the men' paradise!
