Iwill be going to bangkok soon. Can anyone tell me roughly how long is the journey from the new airport to hotel in MBK area or Nana area ? Can also let me know how much is the estimate fare by Taxi? Can we get a taxi at the arrival hall ? Thanks in advance.

It is about 40 mins and would cost about 300 baht if you're not stuck in any jam.

carefull with the touts, they like leeches trying to suck your money dry. Asking me to pay 1400bath for a trip from airport to Palazzo hotel. Show my middle finger to her. There is a taxi counter outside the arrival hall, just take the taxi there which follow meter. Cost me around 300bath from airport to Palazzo hotel.

some taxi at the taxi counter also dont follow meter. This was last year at the old airport. I reach late about 9pm at bangkok and went to the counter. Thought it was standard so hop up but they never on the meter. He was asking for 400 baht to mandrain hotel . Initially Im not paying him that but due to my late arrival and dont want to end up wasting the 1st nite of action so tell him ok. In this case he will take the shortest route if not if you go by meter then he can still bring you merry go round as u dont know the road well.
