Stoke City vs Liverpool - Preview

Stoke boss Tony Pulis has declared himself "pleased as punch'' with the club's new signings & is confident none of them will disrupt the sense of unity @ the Britannia Stadium.

The Potters embarked on a late spending spree on transfer deadline day 2 bring in Wilson Palacios, Peter Crouch & Cameron Jerome.

The trio's arrival follow those of free agents Jonathan Woodgate & Matthew Upson earlier in the summer.

And ahead of the clash with Liverpool, Pulis is feeling satisfied with his recruitment & points 2 the way Woodgate & Upson hv settled in @ Stoke as evidence tat big-name players will not rock the boat.

I have to disagree....... LFC have always underperformed whenever they return from the international breaks...... KD oso lamented that he had only 5 players to work with on the training ground to prepare for this game while waiting for the rest to return from the internationals.

On the other hand Stoke did not have that many players away for the internationals and I believe Tony Pulis has been working them hard....... so I feel a draw for LFC in tonite's game is a reasonable result........ a win will be a bonus and testimony to the Reds revival

You have a point but do remember the other team like Arsenal Chelsa etc they have more players than us when call for international duty but they are far more consistence than us when back to EPL n it does not only just mainly for 1 season

For this season they just need to concentrate for domestic game so much more ample time to rest n train so they need to step up show their effort n prove they have the quality to be in the top four

If we can't even do it in the domestic game we actually can forget about going to play on the higher level against team like Real Marid etc

bro SH149 mentioned tat if The Reds 1 2 be among the top 4,they hv 2 beat those team in the lower half of the table.A lose or even a draw is not acceptable.

charlie adams fit for tonite along wif the rest...only gerrard n kelly out unfit...

impt match at stoke tonite...hope reds r up for it...v tough game as stoke r a gd outfit but think reds can overcome them...1-2 r 1-3 reds!!...hope to c carroll n bellamy on the pitch some time over the 90mins n hopefully score as well...
