May I know how many years did you work to save up to $100,000 in CPF? Cause assuming $500 every year into CPF every month it would take 200 months which is 16 years? Wouldn't that be very long? Assuming 21 years old start work 37 years old then can save until $100,000?

You study statistics would be able to back calculate.
Just go CPF website, find the contribution rate, do up an assumption of his age, and average salary with a certain confidence level and find your own answer.
