Well I hope some oil money or russian roubles come in instead of those americanos, look at how teams such as Man City and Chelsea has progressed after the new investors come in...i hate to say it but the only way for Liverpool to be back on top with the big players is to buy their way back to success...

Strange all the tycoons are heading to France. Despite Liverpool's reputation we don't seem to attract the big investors.

Hope the report abt Henry selling ain't true. This kind of news really unsettle the club, esp when the season is starting soon and the LS saga. If $$$ can buy us success I don't mind the big oil kings comin to our rescue. Afterall in modern football these days, it's all commercialized. Lets be realistic.

Loyalty BR says..... where was his or the clubs loyalty to PR, how can they expect Suarez to be loyal..... yes granted PR might not been at his best in sum games but he did keep us alive in many.... every one go thru bad spells... that BR also noe how to bullshit... first say competion,than say PR high wage earner,so have to let him go.... wtf PR there for 8 yrs.pool offered him the contract... as any employee u wld expect a up in salary scale.now BR says PR was flirting with barca..... wth we are a bloody circus. This gooners also one goondu pour fuel on fire...... for a club who only paid 15 mil as their club record fee,do u really think they gonna fork out 50 mil, when they cld have had higuain for $30mil,I m glad RM fuck them up.we shd do the same sell Suarez to RM.

The lack of CL football is the cause of all these troubles...... without the money from the CL coming in..... LFC is struggling with its finances and will eventually bleed the owners dry if they do not have deep enough pockets.

... if one takes Torres’ sale as gage, Liverpool may well be more competitive and potentially dangerous from an Arsenal perspective if the Gunners handed over £50 million for the Uruguayan.

When Liverpool reinvested the £50 million they received from Chelsea for Torres, they spent it very unwisely – if the Reds continue to make purchases like Andy Carroll (£35 million) and Stuart Downing (£20 million), Arsenal would have nothing much to worry themselves over.

However, that was then and this now – Brendan Rodgers has made some of the most astute signings in the league between this summer and January – Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho are fantastic additions, Simon Mignolet a top top goalkeeper and Iago Aspas and Luis Alberto look to be class acts.

If Liverpool had £50 million to throw around the transfer market this summer, to reinvest in their squad, they may well present a far more dangerous threat to both Arsenal and Tottenham’s aims of making the top four next season.

If Arsenal buy Suarez, of course it will hurt initially for Reds fans but, in the long run it might actually be the best thing. In fact, if Arsenal get Suarez and Liverpool get £50 million out of the deal, the club that should be most concerned should be Spurs.
