The Liverpool of old under Rafa will probly adopt a defensive but very effective strategy agt Spurs which won us the ECL n helped us beat Chel a few times during his reign. Will BR adopt a similar strategy? Pack the defense n midfield, let Suarez run solo upfront n hopefully do some damages?

Or will he play an open attacking game n take Spurs by surprise? Or perhaps pass n pass til the cows come home??? Whatever the strategy I hope we exceed all expectations n steal a win!

With the January transfer window approaching, I'm excited to watch Liverpool do business.

Sporting Lisbon has shut the door on winger Diego Capel unless a ridiculous bid is tabled.

Liverpool will face competition from the red half of Manchester on players such as Ivan Rakitic and Pedro.

Ian Arye was in Spain to discuss a possible move for Barcelona wing-back Martin Montoya.

Spurs are taking tonight's Europa League match seriously as Villas-Boas fields an attacking side. Rose and Eriksen returns from injury.

Fingers crossed for Liverpool to take 3 points on Sunday.

Unfortunately, most of the players who played in the match is unlikely to feature in the weekend game....maybe Dembele or Holtby got chance, the rest will probably warm the bench. Eriksen and Rose were given a run out as they just return from injury.

So I expect their starting eleven to be fresh when they take on us, ...keeping my finger cross too and hope for the best.

Oh shit..... Soldado suddenly is on form again.... he got a hattrick in last night's game. And Eriksen looks good for at least one half in the next game. Spurs players are coming back from injuries while Liverpool players are getting injured.... what ass luck!

I think AVB prefers to field Defoe for this game instead of Soldado.... from his press statements I do not think he is going out to win this game or has the confidence to win this game. It looks like he is going to park the bus and hope to salvage at least 1point from this game.
