Just back from Batam yesterday. Nothing too "happening"
But too long never go only discover the ikan bakar near old Oki oledi closed liao. Heard the boss Bambang now build houses instead.
Went to Hai Ou for dinner 2nd night, the thai style fried Tofu is really nice, Black pepper crab also nice. Tomyam soup soso only. Vegi...nothing to say. Total for 4 pax Rp300K++. Considered on the high side. During dinner a friend suggest I stay in a fairly new hotel near Haborbay, 9Days Hotel. Since I check out liao and extend my stay, I OK lor. Standard room rate Rp 252K, but I must say really worth the money. Free WIFI and safe inside room, but the breakfast CMI, only loti and fried mee and 鸡丝粥. And they only have kopi O....no susu. So at night must drink alot susu 1st. I feedback the owner liao, dun know he will inprove anot. Took some pics to share2 here.
And most important part of the room
Superior room have mirrrors on both side of the bed, But the partition make he room smaller. Those like to see themself in action may like them.

Dear all,
I hope you don't mind if I ask an unconventional question here.
1-2 years ago, I went visiting Permata Indah at Windsor in early afternoon, looking if there was some special cewek.
I was very suprised to see a group of 3-4 Chinese men (looking Singaporeans to my eyes) who were examining with attention the lot of available girls, accompanied or better assisted by a lady.
This lady looked around 30+ yo, very serious, was wearing a kind of office dress, and she looked interested to examine the girls with her friends. She even exchanged opinions with the men, with low voice to not let others to listen. She did not look at me or crossed eyes, like I did not exist.
I got immediately very excited by the idea of a group of brothers AND ONE SISTER coming from Singapore to Batam to enjoy the weekend! That was not really a common view, at least in my limited experience I had at that time.
After 10 minutes, she left them. A bit later I left too. I found her sitting in her car in front of Windsor, with the door open. She smiled at me with the most open smile, totally different than inside the joint. I immediately asked my ojek driver to turn back and let me say hello to the lady.
She told me she was NOT there to hunt girls with the men, but she was working as taxi driver and guide for them. She looked very nice and sexy (not a stunning beauty, but I was still excited by my wrong perception of before).
Unfortunately, I was leaving the same day, so I did not take her phone number.
So, this is my question for you: anybody knows her?? Is she still working as "taxi driver" to escort Singaporeans in Batam??
I found this: http://batamindo.tripod.com/girls.html
These memories from the far past (2003-04 and before!) may make someone to sob, I guess.
Note the prices, the names of places which do not exist anymore, the village in Tg Pinang!
A lost world.
Hi bro, Thanks for advice, greatly appreciated.
No worries on that bro, actually it is new to me that go for paid sex or ktv have to be discreet in batam.
Go in group of 2 or 20 or 50 also actually make no different. unless it is arrange to be a mass sex orgy, else dont see any different.
Organizing group gathering sure is no offence in batam or anywhere in world. Just gathering, not going for demo.
Also going to joint for booking of cewek, is an offence in batam?
One thing i agree bro, security department ppl might be reading this thread. coz i used to discuss abt this thread with a friend from intel.
btw bro, i have read the club u mentioned few times, im quite interested to know more, mind intro abit. Me and my kaki used to do some "things" in batam since 1997, we always like to learn more from business man like you. Also mind letting us know which massage centre or clubs is your club member, so we can go there and spend some of our hard earn money to give our support to your club members.
Again thanks for your advice and concern bro
Before we proceed. We would like all the bros here to know that we are speaking on behalf of the club, not as an individual. And post or comment what we think is appropriate.
You have the right to disagree or not accepting our advice. But as a whole, we do not wish our S’porean members to feel uneasy with the situation that affect their present at some entertainment area.
We feel that you don’t get the message. It is not an offence to book gal in Batam. But with a group of 30 to 40 people going to joints and KTVs at the same time, it might attract unnecessary attention. Who know what will happen if the polisi (maybe in plain clothes) are looking at 2 buses, loaded with S’porean and the ceweks of at least 60 people alighting at the foodcourt………… Will it create an up-roar! Do you have a peace of mind when having your dinner? You should know better since you have been in Batam since 1997. Hopefully, everything is “smooth sailing”.
We come with good intention and advice. We hope you enjoy every trip to Batam. But for the safety of all fellow cheongsters, just don’t be so obvious. All the best to all of you!!!
As for our Club. We believe most of the senior bros should know “Bovo KTV and Nite Club”, which is very popular at that period and it is operated by a S’porean. And if you have been there regularly, you should have heard of BTM RNR Club from some guests. At that time we are still not officially open until year 2001 where many S’porean started to come to Batam. We have stop accepting member since year 2005 after the casinos have closed down. And most of the clubs is not allowed to have gambling activities like jackpot, house-racing, mahjong, etc……….. We have intended to revise the club in year 2010 but due to some licensing issue for the gaming machine, we have temporally put on hold.
Our Motto : Play Hard and Play Smart
Business note : If any bros here is interested in business like massage centres, seafood restaurants or any other trade, especially in Tourism. Please send your proposal to btmrnrclub@yahoo.com and our business coordinators in S’pore or Batam will officially liaise with you. Thanks
We r a group (Batam R&R Club) of businessman from Jarkata staying in Batam. Everyday, we need to travel between Batam and S’pore for some job assignments. So, we don’t really have time to post. Once in a while, we log-in to Batam InfoThread just for the fun of it.
Our motto : We are here to know what is going on in Batam

Bro, your motto change very fast
Again we really thanks for your advice and we will try very hard to be discreet.
But bro, if your our S’porean members feel uneasy with the situation that affect their present at some entertainment area, that got nothing to do with us mah. Benar ga?
Cheong2009 just arrange for a group outing, no need to be so kan chong.
He say max 30, didnt mean sure 30 ppl will go. Btw 30 ppl also not much mah, the biggest group i ever bring is 80+ ppl, that was after one bro songkar, all nothing to do just go batam jalan jalan.
Last year outing, i remembered is around 15ppls, plus cewek around 30 ppls also. At winsor foodcourt, if im not wrong. Heng.... no polisi look at us
anyway we really appreciated your club's advice.
oh ya Bovo KTV, is it the one at Jodoh, closed down many years ago?
Just back from Batam yesterday. Nothing too "happening"
