I admit he did get us to 2nd position that is because he was fortunate to have the fearful SAS last season. I still feel that Liverpool should have kept LS for at least 1 more season when they can sell him for 100 million pounds.

For the Champions League you need to spend big to get good quality players in.Just look at Man City , Chelsea and Arsenal have spent big. Sadly Liverpol don't have that kind of financial cloud to tempt good players.

As for today's match if Mario , Lovren and Mignolet are playing , Liverpool will be in for a tough time. Lallana is still carrying an injury of 2 broken ribs. I would rather rest him than risk playing him to avoid aggravating his injury.

I really do hope that BR will play Borini .BR should put aside his personal ego and think of the team and the club first. He can't complain that he doesn't have enough players.
