Carry around USD. Most of the prices in tourist areas are in USD. If the price is like USD1.50, they will give change in Riel. So no worries.

Will be going to Phnom Penn and sihanouksville in August. Have gone thru the thread and need some advice.

1. Is it still possible to get comp rooms in Nagaworld and casinos in Sihanouksville? From this thread, it is about Usd 600 in chips to get a room night in Nagaworld. But can't find any info on the Nagaworld website. Emailed them and joined the rewards club also no info. I was told that you need to find a junket. Any recommendations? Probably staying 4 nights in Nagaworld.

2. Any such similar arrangements in Sihanouksville?

In sihanok there r many casinos n all of them give free rooms when u exchange cash for gambling chips.

However for convenience, u may wish to stay in BaoMai resort as its near the Lion Circle, this is where there r most pubs and freelancers. For weekdays, u need to roll USD 400 for a free room. Very nice spacious room. When u reach sihanok, just walk into their small casino and approach the staff n they will arrange for u.

Holiday Palace resort is a little way out but also HV their own beach. Weekdays rolling usd200 for free room. U can email them to reserve yr room. Check their website. Room also very nice.

Thanks for the info. will check them out. Seems rolling USD400 is extremely reasonable for a room. Even if I bet 25 bucks a hand, it is only 16 hands which is about half an hour of play.

Checked out Nagaworld in PP, they replied that I can make reservations of buy 1 night get 1 night free if I book with them. That's the only legal casino in PP?

Will continue searching for options.

The rooms in nagaworld is quite spacious, and the free breakfast , buffet style hv many dishes. Min stake for baccarat is usd40. There r many freelancers ,about 10 to 15 ladies sitting at d lounge next to d reception but very expensive, they will quote usd150 etc for St or ON. But they r all pretty mostly in early 20s.

Of course there r junkards to nagaworld. They operate on the 8th floor or 10fl, they call this vip room. Min stake usd100. Generally they provide free airfare , accommodation and tpt when u exchange usd3000 into rolling chips. I didn't follow them to nagaworld but I did follow d Junkard to poipet. Too bad, my Junkard stop operation as she hv lost alot of money and she advise us not to go as they cheat.

In sihanok in all casino, min stake for baccarat is usd10. However some casinos do play with cash min stake usd2. All casinos serve free food, beer and cigarettes to gamblers.

Actually in sihanok, d guesthse r v cheap, on avg is about usd15 to usd20 aircon. Around orchaeteaul beach there r many of these guesthse. At night must try those seafood along this beach, very nice ambiance.

Yep, I did just that with Queenco. A girl responded within the hour. USD 500 bucks per room night. Can reserve in advance with deposit.

Stumbled onto the hotel website and saw the "promo". But unable to use their booking system, so dropped them an email. Surprise they responded.

Great info on the KTV. I was told Queenco far from action. Will renting a car be a good idea as not all of us can ride a motorbike? Not sure about the traffic conditions and parking facilities at the happening places like lion circle and what else. Will read a little bit more on it.

I drove a lot in PP and other provinces. Driving in Sihanou is easy but just have to get use to left hand drive n lawless driving. Parking is never an issue but theft is.

Different sets of problem for driving there. Guess I'll have to stick to their taxis or private transportation.

Thanks to the brothers who travel with me together during the month of May... overall it was an enjoyable trip. I believe next trip there will be a better one since already know where to go hehe.....
