Bro, I assume you want to arrange outcall for the gal to come to your room. You will need to check the rates fixed by the soapy; these can range from 5k for 2 hours to perhaps 8k for an all-nighter. If the service is fantastic, I usually give a tip of 10% of what I paid. For this gal I arranged thru her soapy as I don't know her that well.

After passing by unknown stretches of road, I saw some neon RCA bar sign, which confused me as the only RCA I knew was the clubbing stretch. I think by now, the seasoned would know where I was at - would appreciate a confirmation if this could be SK.

Not long after, we stopped at a place which I can only vaguely remember had a standalone "U" in the name. The idea and layout was similar to a typical agogo place, with a more homely feel to it. There were also karaoke rooms upstairs. The price was indeed more affordable, with the bottle of Blend 285 costing about 400. JW Black was 900 iirc. There were no LDs, but the company of a girl (talking/mild touching) would be an hourly rate of 100 baht. Mixers/ice charged separately, similar to outside clubs.

Slight downer is that the girls seem to be conservatively dressed except when dancing. And the quality of English is almost non existent, which was an uncomfortable problem for me, as the place seems more geared towards having a chat and building rapport, rather than "you like me, we go upstairs boom boom three thousand ok?".

As the night wore on, Friend W went to ST his girl, whom he already knew quite well beforehand. He let on that it was for 2k. After that, he seemed keen to leave as he had to work the next day and said that fights became more common place later on when people got drunk.

So that sort of destroyed my plan of drinking with my girl until the language barrier was breached

I left with him, and took the remaining Blend 285 back, vowing to learn Thai and return. Or not.

Total damage at the end for 2 was about 2.4k for the alcohol, mixers, ice and girl charges. I footed the bill as my "hold hand fee" (he paid his own ST himself). Could be a lot worse, I suppose.
