This season already self destruct under the previous manager. So for Klopp it is getting to know his new players . I think by now he would have a pretty good idea who to keep and who to let go . It is already bad enough to have a headless gorilla but the possibility of have 2 next season .

Quite obvious that the game got to the lads, pretty poor performance, lacked spark in the final third of the field. Henderson does not seem to be with it since he returned. But that said, Stoke got lucky with a clear offside goal from Arnautovic and the Reds did show grit over the 120 minutes plus penalty kicks.

Anyways special mention for Mignolet(some great penalty saves); Flanagan for lasting as long as he did considering he has been out of action for almost 2 years; Benteke who showed some really nice touches and a cool penalty; not forgetting our Welsh Pirlo, Joe Allen, who scored a beauty penalty winner!
