anyway just a heads up on "SENSE" massage nearby to Lee Gardens. They have many pretty pooyings sitting outside like 3-4 asking you to go massage but once you step in, 2 big water buffalos massage you. knn..but quite shiok lar...but kinda like no brains, i was with my girl but they got a guy to massage her as well...then she was like quite paiseh mah...

Been reading up the Hatyai threads and really many great information on food,prices,location etc.

Considering making my virgin trip to check out the place.Just some queries hope Hatyai lao chiao can advise.

1)If going lone ranger any prob getting around and safety wise any concern?

2)Read that Novotel is the most ex hotel at bht1200.Is this the best option to stay in terms of luxury and comfort?

3)May be arriving late and newbie in Hatyai.So how to contact for FL room service?

Considering a three day vacation to go there to look look.

Those thinking of going may want to check out tigerairways site.Flights there cost around $120 all in for return pretty good price.

First of all me no H-city "old bird" but just like to share what little i know.


1) Going "loan ranger" is not a problem,as safety is pretty ok.Getting around is just a tuk tuk anyway or by walking 10-25 mins from point to point.(if you know your way around)But if you are there for the first time you might want to get the tuk-tuk/guide to bring you around.(this option will cost much more but most first timers will have to pay more lol)

2) Yes and yes.

3) From the bellboys,tuk-tuk's etc all will ask you this question "Ah hai you want WL or not?"But getting WL will cost you more by 500 baht and up,that means if the WL booking fees are 1500 baht you be told 2000 baht and up.
If you are really want a WL for the night (if you are going at night by tiger,will reach H-city's hotel around 2130 local time) then you can get them from the pubs and disco's etc.Or you can try kiss lounge.
But all rules apply on getting FL from pub's and discos.(pls put money and all valuables in a safe box,carry on you only what you need for that night.
Last but not least there are website's around ( like nanong's http://www.geocities.com/diyexplore.hatyai/ ) that will give you most of the basic question that you will need on H-city.
