Yo bros ok when i reached my hotel(centro) they knew that i had booked another room one of the staff he laugh laugh ask me so mr lee(my friend) no come i say he work no come then i paid for my room on the spot. Thats it never asked me to pay for the other one i was like phew haha now waiting for my girl to come.....thanks bro nono your advise always very good..and the other bro too who replied i know can just go to another hotel problem was this hotel near for my girl as her house nearby....hehe

Yes,deBest is a very unique hotel. The toilet has big glass panel,can see thru the whole room,so no need scare girl will steal when i am bathing. What i have read is there is only 2 hotels that has the big toilet window that can see thru the room,the other one is more expensive (BCC).

strange it is, but deBest see thru window for bathroom only available for Superior room type. anyhow there is blind to close it from inside, i have stayed at more expensive Deluxe room but dont have the see thru window.

not a bad hotel, though the price increase and mediocre selection at breakfast is a little turn off for me.

Now to answer your question,when you take 2pm ferry (Sin time) from Horizon Fast Ferry,you will reach Batam before 2pm indo time,so you will still have quite a handful of girls in most booking joint to choose from during those time.Yes,even when it is weekends. Chance upon it on my last trip,fairly new and with in-room Wifi,and is also a 2 star hotel (Dju Dju hotel)at S$23...lol...beats bro iccy's recommendation of Sinar Bulan hotel by S$1 (which is a 1 star hotel). Oh,location is somewhere between Formosa and Goodway,so it is still considerably ok...i dont know why booking.com rating for this hotel is 5.8 tho,hehehe...

There are hundreds of hotels in batam. Unless u are talking about top notch ones, the rest, standard does not mean better with more money. Maybe better furnished.
