Just watched Klopp's press conference for tomorrow's match.

Very curious, because apart from Salah he told the press that he was not going to talk specifics on any other player viz injuries. I guess a tactical strategy for both upcoming games.

On Salah, i got the impression that he is probably going to be rested tomorrow and should be fit to start for the City match.

Also looks like Ings stands a good chance to start against Everton.

Boring but at least we kept a clean sheet and it doesn't look like we have any major injuries.

But it shows that outside our main 11, the bench is weak. Fringe players didn't take their chance, Solanke and Ings specifically. Actually, I'd play Brewster ahead of Solanke and Ings. More pace, better touch, more of a goal scorer.

Karius, Van Dijk and Milner, huge positives again. That was a class save from Bolasie by Karius

Klavan and Clyne also big positives for me. Both will be needed in the next few weeks and looked ok.

Oh and what Wijnaldum did today is exactly what we need on Tuesday. Calm distribution of the game and to snuff out danger

Finally, have to say I very much enjoyed Rooney's performance today

Solanke needs to improve and step up his game if he wants to ever play in the first team.

and big congrats to Mo Salah winning another award. he is winning on and off the field. great guy.

It’s worrying we are too dependent on Salah.
Like you said, our bench is weak.
Solanke and Ings were not much of a threat.
Probably Everton showed us too much respect and retreated for most of the game, apart from the late stages in the 2nd half.
Firmino and TA came in too late n could not do much.
Mane seemed lost without F and S.
I hope the addition of Keita will add more oomph to the team when he joins us next season.

Yes, currently without our Egyptian Pharoah talisman we appear to be in trouble(really hope he is 100% fit for Tuesday's Big One!)

From what I have seen of Keita thus far this season in the Bundesliga and EC, think he shall definitely add the "oomph" but we still need to make a couple more quality buys and get rid of those who cmi.

Anyways back to Tuesday's Big One.

must say i was a tad disappointed our reserves did not prove themselves with the absence of the regulars. hate to hear people criticise Pool as a one man team dependent on Salah to get results. it's a hard truth; maybe not all matches, but many of the matches. juz like the season which Suarez single -handedly pushed us to the top.

ok off topic abit abt the Manchester derby ... MU should have been buried by HT. MC had at more than half a dozen of chances to make it 5-0, 6-0 but look who's the culprit ... Raheem Sterling! He missed at least 2 too 3 great chances which should hv killed off any MU revival. was actually quite surprised how the MC defence crumbled after conceding the 1st goal. it juz shows how vulnerable their defence is. Sane and Silva are still great threats. our defence will need to be at their best next week. if we play like MU in the 1st half, we are goin to get ourselves into very serious trouble!
