Hong Kong (HK) Happening

bro sifu.... hope u can help here in me getting started in HKG!!!

I come to HKG about 3-4 times a year due to work... and in one instance, saw my colleague get hustled with gangsters (which since has scared the hell outta me!)

What happened was - he met this girl at the bar... she followed my friend back to the room and they - well... did it... when he went to the shower, she called her keeper who then came to his room and banged on the door - demanded payment and so forth... he did not have much money and came to my room and borrowed another HK$1000 from me...

later I found out that the gangster had punched him a bit and took in excess of HK$2500+ and told him not to look for "his"girlfriend" again

Does this happen often? I witnessed it.... Cause since then - I have been chicken shit scared of cheonging in HK !!!


Would appreciate any advise on how to go about getting to have some fun - safely!! I stay at the Airport Hotel everytime when in HKG...

It's common to hear such stories especially if u call tel listed in magazines. U mentioned ur friend picked up the girl fr bar, so.... Depends on which area it is.. There are known black areas.. Since ur friend is willing to pay, best is to look up the 141 site.. Or go have fun in the ktv, then br the gals out.. Ktv gals, prc is 1k and HK gals double that... Ktv in tst area is safer as it's catering to mostly business crowds...

This kind of incident is very famous for Hong Kong - urban legend which happens to be true (never happens in Singapore, though), but, touch wood, it has never happened to me yet, and I have had many, many one night stands.

You just have to judge whether the girl really likes you (and you had to make a lot of effort to woo her). I believe this happens when the girl is too good to be true for the guy, (and it was too easy a pull for him).

urban legend or not - tis happened to my colleague -

Bro trecruit; In HKG, I don't even visit 141 let alone cheong Macau and HKG's KTV's. First, the prices are very expensive which I do not think it is worth the money spent. Secondly, In the KTV here, most of the WG's are from the mainland, why not go to the source where you will find younger, fresher, better and sillier WG's than compared to HKG. The WG's in HKG are 'Cunning Foxes and Minks' many people have died in their hands. Lastly, which is personal, I am a family man in HKG therefore, only play in China.

Compare Macau to Hong Kong, Macau is more of a party City. Besides being generally a little cheaper, you will find cosmopolitan WG's in Macau. Find ang moh also easy. Don't worry about your schedule, party with brother is a "No Obligation" thing. You let me know when your schedule allows you to play and we shall meet up.

I guess this incident is an isolated one. I am sure there are more of this cases but who is willing to speak up. For those who do speak and report to the Police, thy will induced wrath from their wives, bring embarrassment to themselves and many trips to the HKG police station. A few thousand HKD lost is better to have lost more like divorce and shame. Hence, those targetted are usually distinguished people, middle aged (35-50 Years old) and those looked like they have a family.

WHen your friend got to know the girl, I am sure in-between their pleasant conversation, work and families will be mentioned. I am sure, if a guy mentioned he is single and does not indicate family and ETC, his risk is a bit lower to be targetted. Just my 2 cents worth.

In China, DG-CP, not only you find the KTV is just next to your hotel (a 3 minute walk back to your room) You are able to find KTV rooms with an attached bedroom. Even HKGer comes to China to punt and cheong

Frankly, we have ourselves to be blamed too. Like you said, when things are too good to be true, we have to switch on the alert button liao. We know ourselves best, we have to analyse the situation with caution. Greed and Lust is the culprit to be blamed.
