Has any bros here tot of retiring in Patts? Can we pool our resources together to buy a gated village or develop one like how some Europeans are doing and retire there?

i m also interested to retire in pattaya in the future. rent out my house in spore as funds for me to lead a simple and relax retirement in pattaya.

Usually we see Europeans doing it coz I guess we are just a 2 hour plane ride away? Also as Asians "retirement villages" are a new concept for us but seeing Spore's aging population and more immigrants & foreign workers coming every month Bro Cooler's idea is good... rent out your house (hopefully by then mortgage fully paid) to a foreigner, collect the rent to fund your stay in Patts!

I guess it is a mistake in the above, bar fine 2500????

If not either the bar or the ger hated u too much, the bar did not want to let the ger leave, it is not a normal pub/bar we common discussed or the bar must be crazy.

TMM, any chance you mistook their 'all-in' in Supergirl and similar bars in WS (with pre-paid ST/LT inclusive bf)? Else, doesn't make sense for outrageous pricing

I also want to retire in pattaya. But honestly, for single guys who haf no family commitments, it is much easier. But i use my calculator and count liao.

Estimatelly, u need between minimum SGD$250,000 to SGD$500,000 to retire in a rented normal house in patts for up to 15 years. Of cos i also included ur food and entertainment inside for this price. So if u have tt amount in ur bank acct and u are single, time to apply for ur retirement visa in the embassy lol!

Ok, this is my breakdown for retiring in pattaya now within the populated areas.

Rental i will say 10,000 baht per mth for a decent rented apartment, 6000bht for eating hawker food daily per mth. Ok i give u 24000bht per mth=1000 sing lah.

1000 sing x 12 mths = 12000sgd

12000sgd x 15 yrs = 180000sgd

But seriously for now to retire in los, i feel at least 250,000 sing is comfortable lah to retire for 15 yrs.

Oh ya sorry now i 27 yrs old, i thinking abt the retirement cost in patts 25 yrs later when i 52. So by the time , i think its minimim 350k sgd to 500k sgd for 15 yrs retirement provided our conversion rate to thai bht is de same lol...

Not a mistake lah..... I was with The MilkMan there that night but I think he forgot to mention in his post that the girl was a model in the AGG and is on the highest tier of bar fine. Other girls were available for as low as 700 baht but quality is questionable.

No.... the normal bar fine here was 700baht + 2000baht (ST) / 3000baht (LT).... but when the lady who was with me told me she wants to go with me..... I asked the papasan to maitan..... that was when he dropped the bombshell that BF is 2500baht + 4000 for the girl.
