mobifone goot leh...each time I make local call or sms...the expiry renew automatically by two months from the date of usage...so I dun need to top up or pay...anyway I buy data monthly mainly for on the road...

Technically in my humble opinion may be 2 different things although seems to be inter-related

This 5G may potentially replace the backend between the provider and homes/establishments instead of the fibre required to be install now, but most homes/establishments may still have a central router to transmit wifi to share instead of everybody having their own 5G data line as it is just not economically viable

Moreover I believe most people will rather sit in a cafe or business establishment that provides free wifi instead of using their own data plan tio bo (aka leech )????

I using Mobi for more than 15 years liao leh, somemore still holding the same SIM number (but upgraded to 4G sim liao), mine cannot leh, is it a latest gimmick??? if yes than this weekend I gona try it out liao

Just out of curiosity, did you subscribe before to any of their data package e.g. 70k for 1.6G before? If yes than maybe that is why as they will auto-renew once they realised your SIM is active but provided you have enough $$$ in your account

yes I always buy data package...usually I buy 25k for 150MB data for short few days trips in hcm...and buy 70k for 1.6GB data when I travel out of hcm...the package will last 1 month...often cannot finish using becos using wifi most of the time...most of time I dun have dong left in my sim card but plenty left in KM1, K2, KM3 and Bonus...so I will sub to the data package I need before top-up...

Actually I only need 3G speed nia nia, cos only use for my messaging apps and nothing else, so even give me 10G on my mobile also under-utilised

Most people dun know the problem with these packages is that they will auto-renew once your SIM is active and you have enough $$$ in your account, that is how the Telcos earn $$$$

That is why cheapos like me subscribe to daily 24hrs package, 8k VND nia nia and no auto-renewal, they will send you a SMS once it expired, if no need then I just dun renew, so each trip I may spend only 16k VND for data subscription

the most I top-up each time is 50K...so I am very conscious of what data package I buying...I dun find it hassle becos I dun want to pay for unwanted high data usage...

the phone to me can use to do plenty of things so I dun want to be pennywise but pound foolish...

btw, we pay so much tips to gals and cannot even reward ourselves to have some fun...

some info that I needed may cause me a few hundreds or thousands diff...
